Since the death of Gan Shen, the Shen clan had moved constantly and had approached the city. Many servants and high ranking Shi elders welcomed them into the city. The Shen clan was amazed at the beautiful construction. From roads to mansion, everything seemed to an absolute work of art. The air was scented lightly. Even the servants were beautiful women or handsome men. Many of the disciple had already decided what they were doing that night, or rather who.

The lead Elder assigned the housing and shoed away the disciples, hoping to enjoy some of the beauty for himself. He remembered the many disciple that were roaming around the beast mountain territory and had assumed that those disciples were still doing just that. He hadn't even thought of any other scenario because if the disciples were actually inside the city, they would have surely come to greet them at the gates. Another reason was, his personal disciple was also adventuring in the area and he would never associate his disciple with anything related to death. He signaled a servant and made him find information regarding his disciple. With the servant now gone, he ordered some wine and enjoyed his evening.

"Elder, there is a guard here about your disciple's whereabouts." A maid said as she bowed lightly.

"Send him in." Elder replied anxiously. He had treated his disciple like a son and trained him well. Elder missed his disciple a lot as he was gone for over 2 years in search for insights and adventure. Soon, a bulky looking man of the Shi clan walked in and greet the elder politely. Without even hearing the information, Elder threw the man a bottle of Ki pills.

"Thank you for your kindness elder, your disciple is here within the city. He currently resides with his personal quarters made especially for cultivation for the elites of the Shen clan. Shi clan has not sparred any effort in taking care of your disciple." The guard then stopped, looking slighted exited and expectant of more gifts from the elder. Elder smiled and handed him more pills to cultivate with. "Thank you elder. May is send some to inform your disciple about your presence here?" The guard questioned the Elder. Elder wanted to see for himself about the cultivation of his disciple, so he shook his at the guard's question and walked out, heading towards the mansion that the guard had mentioned, stopping only after reaching his disciple's residence. The elder walked up to the guard stationed at the gate and woke up the young man. The guard was barely considered a cultivator, he looked about 15 and was only at early Ki gathering realm. The young man scrambled to his feet and clumsily pointed a sword at the elder.

"Halt, this is an elite manor. No one except the assigned personnel may enter. State your reason and it will be transmitted to the young lord when he finishes his cultivation." The guard tried to look as threatening as possible. The elder however was pleased to hear that his disciple was diligently cultivating. He took out another bottle of pills and handed them to the young guard. The guard was shocked out of his mind, to him this kind of gift was like an opportunity sent from the heavens.

"Senior, I thank you from the bottom of my heart but the young lord really has order me personally to stop anyone from entering. He even stated that this time he will be trying to make a breakthrough. If I allow anyone to enter without his consent, he may even kill me out of rage for disrupting his cultivation." The young man explained and held up the bottle for the elder to except back.

"Young man, keep the pills. Also, send someone to inform that useless disciple of mine, that is master is here. Surely, he would come out." Elder didn't want to force his way into his disciple's mansion. The young man at the gate then took out a drum and hit it with a special stick. The sound was dull and coarse but this type of drum was usually connected to the chief servant's drum within the mansion, informing about an important guest. "Elder, the servants have been informed. Someone will come to welcome you soon." The guard said and went back to his hut to cultivate. Almost an hour had passed and there was a yell from the hut. "Yes, I have finally achieved the Mid Ki gathering realm." The guard shout from within his hut and walk out happily, only to be surprised with the annoyed face of the elder. "Elder, were you thrown out?" the guard questioned in a low voice.
