I felt his arms wrap around my back. It was rare for us to hug, and Miles always felt warm, and he smelt like Rexona dedoerant, the kind for men. His hug was tight, but made me feel safe. I always felt safe with Miles.

"It's all my fault. The fight." I blamed myself, and Miles pulled back placing his left hand on my left shoulder. He shook his head in disagreement.

"No. I want to forget this fight. It was stupid." He calmly said, and his eyes were staring back into my own. I felt my stomach do a flip in the pit of my stomach and then my heart beat increased and a weird feeling overlapped me.

I knew I wouldn't be able to forget this fight, but I know Miles wants to. A first fight is always something that surprises people, and for us we were both in a state of shock because of it.

I nodded in agreement, and I linked arms with his with a smile.

It was strange how fast things went back to normal the next day.

It was also strange how annoying the both of us were today, because it started off with me poking Miles on the cheek numerous times, until he ran away from me, laughing. I chased after him, until I came close enough to reach him. I jumped from the floor, onto his back. I wrapped my legs around his stomach and my arms around his neck, and Miles decided he was going to collapse on purpose. I squealed, landing on my back.

Miles scurried from the floor, before he pinned my arms to the floor, same with my legs. I squirmed, laughter escaping from my lips. Miles always said I laughed like a serial killer, and that it was pretty creepy. Hearing myself laugh, I'd admit it was kind of creepy when I heard it myself.
"When did you get so strong?" I questioned.

"The same time the voice got deeper," he said.

"Oh my god, you got that off iCarly!" I threw my head back in laughter, and Miles grip on my wrists got tighter.

Miles started to tease me, as I begged for him to release me. But, of course, he wouldnt.

"Miles, you know I've done more than two years of karate, so if I was you I'd let me go," I reasoned, but Miles gave me a cheeky smile and shook his head.

I squirmed again, grabbing Miles wrists also and using my strength to wrestle free. In a matter of seconds, I had managed to be the one on top, staring down at him.

"I told you." I teased, and Miles threw his head back in laughter.

"Shit! If I had remebered you were stronger than I, I'd have ran away," he joked, and I dug my knee into his stomach.

"Ha-ha." I poked my tongue at him, and he did the same thing back.

Out of nowhere, the front door slammed shut and my mum entered the doorway with shopping bags on her wrists. Hearing the door slam shut made me jump and I fell off Miles. I landed on my back, laughing at myself while I stared up at the ceiling.

"Taylor?" my mum called, as she entered the living room.

"Over here, mum." I replied and in a second my mother was peering down at me with a smile tugging at her lips. Then her eyes followed to Miles, who was now leaning against the side of the couch.

I sat upright, facing my mum as she started laughing at how childish I must be acting right now.

"Let me guess, you and Miles were wrestling again?" she guessed and I couldnt help the smile that tugged at my lips.

"Pretty much," I said, and out of the corner of my eye I could sense Miles laughing at me.
