Li Bai opened the door and walked out of the room. It was fortunate for him that the doorknob was within his reach, otherwise, his pompous exit would have been a fail.
As soon as Li Bai walked out, a guard that was launched from the main entrance hit the wall right beside Li Bai. This stunned Li Bai. I sure am lucky.
When he glanced at the main door, it was broken and in shards! The cause was a large mob outside the Hou auction house. The guards were hard at work trying not to let them in.
All of the people involved in the mob looked like they had to settle a grudge. They were all ready to kill! The eyes of the participants were all bloodshot red.
Li Bai saw this scene and thought about his past lives. In one of his past lives, his name was Zhang Dong (张栋). Zhang Dong was one of the times that he failed to become an influential person.
When Zhang Dong was just rising, as a mark genius, he got all the attention. It was only natural that his peers would be jealous.
Zhang Dong was part of a top sect called the High Mountain sect, which specialized in bows and other ranged weaponry. The sect gave him much attention.
Zhang Dong looked like he trained every day to stay a part of the sect. Of course, he already knew that he would become a pillar of this sect a few years later, so he trained indolently. Even still, he got spectacular results!
Zhang Dong got his own courtyard at first, which incited some jealousy inside a few of the other sect disciples. The jealousy eventually dissipated when they all thought he deserved it.
Zhang Dong got even lazier and arrogance was appearing within him yet again. In his past lives, when he got strong, his arrogance would go up to extreme levels. This life was no exception.
But still, although Zhang Dong almost didn't train at all, when he did, he would rise up enormous levels. He only trained for a week per month, but he almost surpassed all the elders within the High Mountain sect.
This made the sect pay even more attention to the mark genius. He surpassed their expectations! They then gave Zhang Dong his own mansion. Again, this sparked some jealousy within the sect disciples, but now the number of disciples that felt this was not few, but many.
Still, they forced themselves to think that this was not unfair treatment but rather because it's for the future of the sect. If a mark genius was risen by the sect, their reputation would surely rise.
One day, he went out for a walk in the lower sect disciples' area. They all had furrowed brows when they saw him, but they held their jealousy in. Zhang Dong saw this, and an evil smile appeared on his face.
Zhang Dong was arrogant and lustful, truly an outlier in the lives of this soul. Things have been given to him too easily! He had become spoiled.
Zhang Dong saw a beautiful woman, buying something on the market. He almost drooled at the sight of the gorgeous body and face right in front of him. Of course, he thought that he could do anything within this area because this was the trash disciples' area!
The beautiful woman heard footsteps getting closer and closer towards her. Something then grabbed her hand. She sighed and looked fed up with this. It seems like she was used to this.
The beautiful woman suddenly turned around with her foot out, kicking Zhang Dong in the process! Zhang Dong, however, did not budge. The beautiful woman's eyes instantly shrunk when she saw the man grabbing her - it was the mark genius!

The passers-by saw this scene and were frightened. The beautiful woman was the idol of all the lower sect disciples. She, too, was a lower sect disciple but she was stronger than anyone there.
