(Sasuke x Reader) The pain of love

A New Problem

"How are you feeling now Sasuke-Kun?" You ask him while setting his 'Get well soon' gifts on the table next to him. "I fell much better now" He said while looking you deep in the eye. You feel your cheeks heat up. "AHEM, IM HERE TOO, YA KNOW" Naruto yells at you two. "Yes, unfortunately you are here" Sasuke rolls his eyes and replied to Naruto. "NARUTOOO" Kakashi-sensei yells out while entering the room. "Can you not, Some sane people are trying not to loose their hearing abilities" You tell Kakashi-sensei sarcastically. "oh, (y/n), good fight by the way, I was amazed after seeing you fight" Kakashi-sensei praises you. "yup, and its all thanks to Haruko-Sama" You say while grinning. "And me" Kakashi-sensei adds. "No" you say bluntly. "Ouch, you're too honest (y/n), Anyways NARUTOO, YOU'RE COMING WITH ME" Kakashi-sensei yells while grabbing Naruto by the ear and dragging him away

You sit down next to Sasuke. "Ya know, If I'm annoying you, you can tell me to leave" You tell him while gazing at the sky through the window. "I don't think you're annoying. I think you are fun to be around" Sasuke replied while placing his hand on yours. You feel your cheeks heating up again, You quickly cover your cheeks using your hands. Sasuke lets out a small chuckle. "You're blushing (y/n)" He said as he removed your hands of your cheeks, you quickly look away from him and a small smile appeared on your face

"Have you ever been in love?" All of a sudden Sasuke asks you. "Lover?" You tilt your head and look back at him. "Yes love, you know the feeling you feel towards someone, the feeling that makes your heart race  when you're around the person you like." He explains to you. "I see. I don't think I've ever been in love" You answer him. "Why did you ask that all of a sudden?" you as Sasuke. "No reason, just was curious." Sasuke says to you while laying back down. "Have you ever been in love?" You ask Sasuke. "well, I guess I've been in love, in fact I am right now" A small smile appears on his face as he said that. "Oh really, Who is it?" You ask Sasuke curiously. "well, it-" Sasuke's voice gets cut off by a nurse. "Visiting hours are over" The Nurse said that and left. "you can tell me another time. Bye Sasuke-Kun" You gave him a small wave and left

~CHUNIN EXAM: LAST PHASE~

You sit down on one of the chairs and wait for your team to come. After few seconds a boy with Red hair and a gourd sits next to you along side a girl with a fan and a boy with face paint. "Umm, excuse me, that is suppose to be my teams chairs, so if you don't mind-" you voice gets cut off by the red haired boy, "I don't see a name on this chair, so anyone can sit on it" the boy said coldly. "I-I know, but its just that- you know what forget it" You tell him and concentrated on the battles. 

Few fights went on and it was finally it was Sasuke's fight. "Sasuke Uchiha VS Garaa of the Hidden sand" The referee announced. You look around to see if Sasuke was there. "Oh God, don't tell me he quite." You whisper to yourself. "Obviously, a weakling like him would give up" Gaara says coldly. "why aren't you giving up?" you ask him which made him widen his eyes. "What do you mean" He asks you while giving you a cold look. "I mean you're a weakling so why aren't you giving up?" You ask him. Gaara started to growl in anger, "Watch that mouth of yours or else I rip it o-" His voice gets cut of by Kakashi-sensei's voice. "Sorry we are late, umm, Sasuke isn't disqualified, right?"  Kakashi-sensei asked awkwardly while rubbing the back of his neck. You give Gaara a smirk, "Good luck, you're gonna need it" You tell Gaara still smirking. Gaara frowns and looks at you and jump down to the arena.

As Sasuke and Gaara kept on battling each other, you feel yourself getting sleepy, you eye lids were getting heavy. "w-what's happening?" You mumble to yourself as a yawn escapes your mouth. You quickly realized that you were under a genjutsu. "Release" you say softly while struggling to keep your hand sign.

You quickly stand up and look around to see everyone fast asleep. you turn around to see Sakura running towards you  "(Y/N)-CHAN," She was out of breath. "Sasuke...Fight...Gaara...Naruto" She tried to speak while panting . "Calm down, what's going on?" You ask Sakura while trying to contain your anxiety. Sakura took a deep breath and started to explain. "Some people attacked us and they were after Sasuke, Sasuke went that way with Gaara following him, Me, you and Naruto are assigned by Kakashi-sensei to go and protect Sasuke" She explains to you. 

You let out a small sigh. "I Could teleport us there" You say while placing your left hand on Sakura's chest and using your right hand to make a sign.  In a instance you two were near Naruto. You spot Sasuke on the ground, you quickly ran towards Sasuke and started to heal him. "(y/n), I lo-" Sasuke's voice gets cut off by Sakura's horrifying scream, you turn around to see Gaara turning into a demon while his claws were pinning Sakura to the tree. you quickly create a Northern star bomb and attack gaara's claws that was pinning Sakura to the tree. Gaara's Claws quickly let go of Sakura, You quickly body flicker to her and carried her back to Sasuke.

"(y/n)-Chan leave this to me. Get Sakura and Sasuke to safety" Naruto tells you while giving you a thumbs up. You give him a small nod and place your hands on both Sasuke and Sakura's chest and body flickered away from them to safety. You quickly start to heal both of them, "if I'm only concentrating on my medical ninjutsu than I will lack in combat" You think to yourself. Soon enough Sasuke slowly opens his eyes. "You're awake" You exclaim while hugging him. He returns the hug but only for a brief second. "We must help Naruto."  Sasuke said while still grunting in pain. "I would say yes But  looks like he wont be needing our help" You say while pointing at a giant frog which was being controlled by Naruto. 

"You wait here, I will be back" You tell Sasuke while getting ready to body flicker away. After body flickering to Naruto, You walk over and kneeled down next to Gaara who was laying on the ground. "You know, we could've been friends, we are similar to you." You tell Gaara while giving him a emotionless look. He looks at you shocked, "Why?" That was all he said, His siblings came and quickly carried him away. You turn around to see Naruto grinning, "Told ya I could do it" He tells you while grinning and gives you a thumbs up.

~BACK AT KONOHA~

You fell asleep right away after coming home. The next day you woke up to the sound of Haruko-Sama sobbing. You sit up and start to rub your eyes. "What's wrong Haruko-Sama?" You her while getting ready to beat up who ever made her sad. "T-T-The H-Hokage is d-dead" Haruko-Sama said while trying not to cry. You face turned emotionless. You just sat there not wanting to speak. "The Hokage that took care of me like if I was his own child, is died"  you think in your mind. "H-His funeral will be held today" Haruko-Sama said while trying her best not to cry. You lay back down, not feeling like doing anything. "Wake me up when its time" You tell Haruko-Sama coldly. She gives you a hesitant nod and you shut your eyes and forced yourself to sleep, hoping that this is indeed just a sick nightmare
