"Hey, Tony can I talk to you alone?" John asks, I nod and follow him out of the text. We walk into the woods, I'm assuming so no one hears us.

"Tony last night I-I saw something. It might've just been the alcohol but I swear I saw your chest, and you had breasts" He says, "Tony, are you a woman?"

I sigh. There goes my secret. He's seen it so I can't exactly lie about it.

"Yes, John. I am a woman" I sigh. John's eyes go wide. "My name is Antoinette De Lafayette"

"D-De Lafayette," he pauses, "You're Laf's sister!?"

"Yes! Please don't tell Laf or anyone! I came so I could see Laf." I say.

"You're secret is safe with me." John says.

"Thank you John" I kiss his cheek, and he blushes.

We make our way back to the tent. 

"Where were you two? You missed Alex's argument about Lee!" Herc says. 

"Why did Washington promote him to second in command! I deserve that position! But no, I'm stuck manning the general's journal!" Alex huffs. 

I laugh, "I'm sure you'll have a general's position some day, mon amie."

"tu parle français?" Laf says in french.

"Oui" I answer. 

"Mon amie!" Lafayette hugs me. I laugh and hug him back. I haven't hugged my brother in years. Laf pulls away and stares deep into my eyes. 

"You okay, Laf?" I ask. 

"You s-sounded like my sister. Like, exactly like my sister" He says, examining my face, "Y-You have the same nose, and lips as her too, and eyes"

"I'm sure it's just a coincidence! I mean, your sister is in Albany! You might be hearing things, you need some rest." John covers for me. 

I smile at him and mouth, "Thank you." He knods.

"ATTACK!" General Washington shouts.

"RETREAT" Lee shouts over Washington. 

"ATTACK"

"RETREAT" 

Soldiers are confused, some following Lee's orders, and others following Washington's. I follow Washington's orders and attack, stopping and taking cover behind a tree to reload my musket. 

"What are you doing Lee, get back on your feet!" Washington shouts. 

"But there's so many of them!" Lee says. 

"I'm sorry is this not your speed!?" Washington shouts, "Hamilton," 

"Ready sir!" There's a bit of hope in Alexander's eyes. 

"Have Lafayette take the lead!" Washington shouts. 

"Yes sir" Alexander says, disappointment in his voice, as he runs off to find my brother.

John and I have gotten closer and closer. This hasn't helped my feelings for him. I sit on my bed, writing to Peggy, when the guys all walk in. They're suspiciously quiet, and Lafayette looks mad. 

"Antoinette Renee De Lafayette, would you mind explaining to me why you're here"
