Neither of them claimed they were dating but everyone else came to a conclusion or so. Both Hera and Yukhei never shared the kiss as they were interrupted by Jungwoo at the front door who instantly pulled his sister away the moment he caught them standing so close to one another.
The change in Yukhei was very noticeable by almost anyone. His treatment towards Hera was very different that his previous girlfriends. No one ever caught both of them having intimate contact nor did they cling to one another at school or practice. They seemed like friends, very close friends at some point.
At lunchtime, her group of friends and Yukhei's group of friends almost stirred up a fight. Or more specifically, Jungwoo and him. While Yukhei insisted to have Hera sit at his table, Jungwoo was against the idea of her hanging around the group of so called jocks. After a brief argument, Jungwoo decided he was in no position to control his sister but he made sure Yuta stayed with her.
"You need to stop treating us as referees whenever you two fight." Doyoung spoke as the three of them ate together. "True, but on the bright side we have more time to discuss about the school events now that the two of them aren't here." Koeun causally pointed which made Jungwoo to glare at her. However, Koeun shrugged her shoulders instead.
"Besides, you have to admit. Yukhei seemed to change." Koeun added to avoid having holes in her brain from the glare the president was shooting her. "Keyword, seemed." Jungwoo quickly added. He wasn't going to admit that so easily. Though Yukhei never did anything to him in particular but Jungwoo was raised to trust his gut, and his gut is telling him that Yukhei was hiding something.

Each day passed without Hera failing to learn something new about Yukhei and his friends. Ten was a really playful guy despite the elegance he had in his appearance. Johnny was really reliable when it comes to sports, he's like ESPN or something. Mark was a guy full of laughs, he'd laugh at even the smallest joke, Hera thought it was awfully adorable. Jaehyun on the other hand was the smartest among them and he actually had a large interest in studying.
Everything Hera had ever thought of them before was pretty much wrong. In actual fact, she didn't know them at all, before she just assumed.
"Hey, walk with me after school?" Yukhei held onto her arm as she was about to leave for class when the bell rang. "Sure, I'll see you at my locker." She replied with a smile. Yukhei couldn't help but to smile along, he released his grip on her as Hera waved a goodbye to him before leaving the cafeteria.
"Let's get going, lover boy." Jaehyun pulled the tall guy along as they head to the other side. School felt longer than normal which drove him mad as he wanted to see her sooner. It wasn't just Hera, he had told Maya he wanted to tell her something as well. He was agitated as he wanted to get over with it quickly.
After what felt like an eternity, the final bell rang. Yukhei was the first one to spring from his seat and instantly left the classroom. As he reached Maya's classroom, he caught sight of Jungwoo who shot him yet another glare before taking a left. He noticed Hera was talking to the teacher, which gave him more time to approach Maya instead.
As soon as the awaited girl exit the classroom, Yukhei grabbed on her arm and pulled her away from other students. He pulled her to a corner where no one would use as everyone was heading outside the school building.
"I got your message, you could've waited." Maya pulled her arm from him and rolled her eyes. "So what's this about? I don't have any useful information on Hera and by the looks of it she seems to like you." Maya said.
"Duh, it's me you're talking about." Yukhei rolled his eyes, as if it wasn't a big deal. "Let's see if that $100 would be yours." Maya scoffed. "This bet has been all but difficult. It's getting boring for me to play around with Hera." Yukhei smirked and Maya patiently waited for him to finish whatever he was proposing. "How about we make it more interesting?" He asked and the girl raised an eyebrow.
"Raise it up to $500," he said and Maya was very quick to respond but he stopped her. "I'd date her, then break her heart. How does that sound?" He said. "That's just cruel." Maya responded, it wasn't becoming fun for her anymore. Every time she looked at Hera, she'd feel guilty. Now Yukhei wanted to stir more drama which would make her regret her life decision even more.
Yukhei scoffed at her comment. "But, I decided to open up another option since I know you'd say that." Yukehi grinned and Maya didn't know what was coming next. She looked at him, as if she could read his mind but sadly she had no such abilities.
"I'm calling off the bet."
"I'm sorry, what?" Maya had a confused mask on her face, indeed she was startled by what he was saying. "I don't wanna trick her anymore, I like her for real." He admitted. Before, he thought it would be embarrassing to actually eat up his own words but then he realised it felt great to be true to himself.
Maya looked at him in disbelief, she wanted to ask what was the whole $500 about then but the male seemed to read her mind. "I was joking okay, I wanted to see if you were willing to take out $500 from your savings." He laughed. "Are you saying I don't have money?" Maya crossed her arms and scoffed at the male.
The two laughed it off instead if continuing arguing. "I'm glad for you, Yukhei." Maya patted his shoulder. "I'd have to thank you for that night at the party." He added with a smile. Maya flipped her hair at his compliment and they both agreed to call off the bet. Both sides felt relieved, the only thing left to do now was to keep it a secret.

'Yukhei you fucking bastard, I'm going to kill you.' Jungwoo kept in mind as he overheard their conversation. He was about to head to the student council's room, to get his file which he left when he heard the two's conversation. He couldn't listen until the end as he noticed Hera was coming his way so he had to shoo her away.
He swore he'd split his head if he ever played around with his sister and this time no one could stop him. Jungwoo wanted the casanova dead by his hands. Hera didn't have to know, it was better it she remained unhurt. Yukhei's disappearance would just be a temporary query, everyone forgets.
