Chapter Forty-Six: Oracle Queen

Okay. What happened in Paris was amazing.

We went all around and entered shops full of gowns and dresses. Perfumes were all around smelling oh so great. (We bought some of it 'cause we felt like we would need it.)

Now, we're back at the house and I decided to visit my mom and aunt. Yes. The mirror was also brought to our new house so that I can just visit my mom any time that I want.

That's exactly why I'm in the living room of the castle, laughing so hard out of a pun that my mom made.

"How is that even funny?" I asked, chuckling. My mom shrugged. "I just wanted to be blunt and so I did." My aunt just grinned and rolled her eyes.

"She always had that sense of humor that no one understood, but is still funny. I know, confusing." Ravenna whispered. I nodded in agreement. "I understand, really."

After that, we went walking around the castle, catching up on what I missed.

"Y/n, Do you ever wonder why you lost your ice and dark powers and had light instead?" My mom asked me. I looked at her confused. How did she know about my light powers? She was hiding during the fight.

"I know what you're thinking. I saw. Remember, I can see everything. As can your aunt." I looked at my aunt as she nodded. "Well, yes. I keep on wondering from time to time." I replied.

"Well, I guess it's safe to tell you the truth." Aunt Ravenna said. I looked at her in confusion once again. I have never been so confused. Jeez

"What truth?" I asked, curious on what she's talking about.

"Well, you're what most people call... an Oracle Queen. It's a power that only comes when ice and dark mix. All of the Oracle Queens have been slaughtered in the past hundred years. Why? You ask? Well, Oracle Queens are known to produce powerful light beams that can destroy an entire... well, as you people call today, 'country'. They are also known to see the future, exactly why many people want them dead. They didn't want their wicked plans to be spoiled. Thus, the end of the rein of the Oracle Queens, but now, now that you're here, another era will start." My mother explained.

Woah. That's a lot to take in.

"Well, Oh wow. That's... great... I guess?" My aunt chuckled at my reaction. "It's alright. No one knows that you exist.... yet."

Great. That's a relief. (Note the sarcasm.)

"Alright then. That's... good to know." I whispered. "Okay ugm... mom and aunt, I have to go and check on Loki. I need to make sure he's alright."
