May's POV
As I'm talking to Kayla I noticed Derek and his friend walking right behind us. I turn around and ask "What's your problem?"
He looks up like a deer caught in headlights. "Nothing?" he answers back.
"Well. You should stop." I tell him rudely.
I walk off with Kayla in tow.
"Woah. What was that about?" Kayla asks.
"I don't know." I tell her. "I just don't like him."
Later that day.
"Honey?" I hear my mom yell from downstairs.
"Yeah?"
"We're having dinner with our new neighbors. Get ready please."
"Okay."
As I'm getting ready I can't help but think about who our new neighbors are.
*Ding Dong* I hear from downstairs. "I got it!" I yell to my mom.
I walk downstairs and go to the door. I open it. And it's Derek.
"Really?" I think to myself.
"Come in." I tell them. "My name's May."
