Chapter 28 : Tears in a Starry Night

After the incident with the USNA's Stars and the Special Battalion of Japan's National Defence Force everything went back to normal. Mayumi and her daughter was safely accompanied by Tatsuya in the Saegusa's house and was living a more happy life eversince.

"Okasan! Mayumi okasan! Wake up!" Nozomi said.

"Mhhhmm, why so noisy Nozomi. Its still so early."

"Okasan! Today is when father would bring us to a picnic right?"

"Oh my gosh I almost forgot! Why didn't you told me earlier." Mayumi said sounding so rushed as she jumped out of her bed.

"I am. You just wont wake up." Nozomi replied as she rolled her eyes cross her arms.

"How come you are prepared already. Oh nooo what time is it? Its 8:15 AM already. Tatsuya would be here any minute." Mayumi said frustrated at her self as she prepares in her bathroom.

"Well father did."

"What?"

"Otosan is here around 7:30 in the morning and helped me prepare."

"The more anyone should have waken me!"

"Uhhh well father told us to let you take your time." Nozomi answered. "After all, he is having a serious conversation with grandfather." Nozomi added as she whispered it to herself.

And there goes Tatsuya and Kouichi having a private conversation at the office of the Saegusa's family head. Nakura Saburou his assistant stayed outside the room to guard the door from anyone who might enter.

"So what do you want to talk to, Tatsuya-san?"

Kouichi said as he offered a tea at Tatsuya and softly placed a cup in front of him.

"I have a lot to say and ask actually."

"Fire away then."

"First, aunt Maya would like to work hand in hand with the Saegusa for the protection of Nozomi. She would also like your approval for a shared custody of our family with Nozomi."

"Well, I'll be delighted to have the help of the Yotsuba family in regards to the safe keeping and up bringing of my granddaughter. Next one would be?"

"Second, I want you to tell me your intentions about the Void Theory."

"The theory of Fire and Ice. Well I do expect that your aunt Maya told you about this already?"

"She had. But still, I want to know your side of story."

"Well, if she explained to you the theory of compatibility for the Saegusa's and Yotsuba then that is correct. The Project Armageddon is the awakening of this world's so called, Destrucrive weapons or the Ancient Weapons. Long story short, it is the fruit of the Fire and Ice theory."

"And our daughter is the Project Armageddon."

"Well yes, you could say that. But not only her. It would be applicable to every child you and Mayumi will have."
