Chapter 24: Meeting Whis and Lord Beerus, Tragedy Struck

The bright-ass sun starting irritating me. I grunted, shoving the blanket over my head. I heard the door open.

"Mom?"

"What is it," I grunted.

2 pairs of footsteps walked over to me.

"Mom! We're going to go hang out with Trunks!"

It was Goten.

"Don't be out too late."

"Okay!"

I went back to sleep.

I breathed heavily.

"Yin?"

I opened an eye.

"What is it Goku," I murmured.

I saw him close to my face.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm... tired..."

I yawned. He placed a hand on my forehead.

"You're very hot."

"I guess I'm sick."

I shrugged.

"Then I can't go training."

"No, you don't need to. I'll get over it. Go train."

"I'm going to King Kai's, and I wanted to ask you first."

"Go on."

I sat up, grunting a bit. I looked over at him and smiled.

"You go on and train, I'll be fine."

"I don't want to knowing you're sick."

"I took some medicine, I've been sleeping it off. I felt hot and I vomited earlier, but it's gone now."

I giggled. He sat on the edge of bed and wrapped his arms around me. I laughed.

"You're worrying too much. Go! I'm encouraging you! Go."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive. Go on Big Guy, you got this."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

I nodded. I patted his back and yawned.

"Go on, and stay safe."

I stretched.

"I will, just promise to take care of yourself, alright?"

"Yeah, you got it!"

I grinned. He left via instant transmission. I yawned again, laying down and going back to sleep.

We all were at Bulma's Birthday Party, just having a nice time. I was sitting under an umbrella, drinking tea quietly. I was still not feeling well. I knew I caught a bug, and it'd usually go out after a week or so. If it was longer, I think there's a problem then, but I wouldn't know. I'd shrug it off, probably.

"Mom, are you alright?"

I looked up at Gohan.

"Yeah! I'm fine, still sick," I reassured him, placing a hand in his and patting it with another hand.

"Dad told me to check on you before he left," He crouched down in front of me.

"Oh, that Goku, I told him not to worry. I'm just a bit sick."

"I'm surprised that you're letting him train while you're like this."

"Why not? He deserves it."
