Ever since Got7 started promoting their newest album Eyes on You, you have been crazy busy. With barely any rest you were working around the clock with Got7. After filming the Knowing Bros episode it was leaked that you had been on the set and waves of controversy had appeared. So many news articles were being written about you and your relationship with Yugyeom. Most of which were all smoke and mirrors in an attempt to gain traction and publicity but it was still a difficult mess for JYP to maneuver. So to try to find a solution JYP organized a meeting to figure out a way to calm fans and shut the lies down.
The meeting was taking place early in the morning and both you and Yugyeom had to be there. Unfortunately, that meant you had to wake Yugyeom up, which was your least favorite thing to do. It took you over twenty minutes to get him out of bed and normally it would have taken much longer but after compromising with Yugyeom he agreed to get out of bed.
Since it was finally springtime the weather was beginning to warm up, so you decided to wear a simple outfit for the meeting. Just a plain white blouse with a navy blue pencil skirt and a thin black jacket. You didn't want to look overdressed or underdressed for that matter. Unlike you, Yugyeom put no thought into what he was going to wear a grabbed the first things he could find so he could go back to see as soon as possible. After dragging Yugyeom to your car and making your way to the meeting room at the JYP building you started to feel nervous.
Most meeting you had to go to was quite small and unimportant, but the meeting today have a lot of people and it all seemed like a rather serious matter. You and Yugyeom sat together at one end of the room, hoping to draw a little attention to yourselves as possible. While you waited for JYP to arrive you whispered with Yugyeom, the vibe in the room was very awkward right from the moment you walked in.
Thankfully JYP arrived only a few minutes after you. Once he sat down the meeting began right away. The first half of the meeting was just discussing the current situation with the lawsuit against Hit the Stage and that entire incident. After that was finished JYP began a new discussion "Now we need to utilize this opportunity we have" JYP turned his head and looked over at you changing the topic of conversation. "What opportunity?" You seemed slightly worried by the change in tone as he spoke. Before it seemed like everything that was being talked about was boilerplate very general but when JYP looked right at you, you were worried.
"You two have been asked to appear for an interview not only to promote Got7's album but to talk about your relationship" JYP started to explain. Your eyes grew as big as golf balls "Why do they want to talk about our relationship?" You did not feel comfortable in front of cameras especially after Hit the Stage. "Apparently they want to learn more about you since there is a lot of rumors and stories floating around you" One of the higher-ups in the company began talking from across the room. "We want you both to do the interview tomorrow. If this goes well this could lead to more opportunities for you and could very well let you become an idol" Your eyes widened in alarm, you could already feel yourself shaking in anxiety. That was the exact opposite of what you wanted to hear. "A-an idol??" You questioned, you could feel yourself starting to stress out and panic.
