Chapter 9

Yusei's POV
"What's going on?," I asked Akiza as I sat down on the grass of the hill I had taken her to.
"My parents are dead,Yusei," She answered. My eyes widened in shock.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She shrugged.
"I-I don't know," She answered.
"Well are you okay?," I asked her,softly.
"I will be."
"Why don't we go for a ride? It'll take your mind off of things," I suggested. She nodded.
"I can use that right about now."

"So...what's going on with you and Sayer?,"  I asked her. She spat out the water in her mouth.
"What!," She exclaimed.
"You and Sayer? Nothings going..." she shook her head viciously. I sighed in relief.
"Good...because you deserve better."
"I'm not so sure I do," She spoke.
"You deserve the world, Akiza. No guy will ever be good enough for you," I told her the truth. She shook her head.
"I'm not good enough for anyone, Yusei," She spoke. I shook my head.
"The exact opposite," I told her.
"You give me too much credit. I'm not good enough for anyone, Yusei."
"You're good enough for me," I told her and leant closer to her and planted a soft kiss on her lips.
"More than good enough," I spoke once my lips left hers. She blushed.
"I-I- I'm sorry," I interrupted. She shook her head.
"Don't be." Our lips touched.

One kiss. One kiss was all it took for me to realize how much I love her and cannot live without her.
