We headed out to lunch, and sat down at the table, and had our usual banter. Until everything got really cold and dark.

I stood up as a dark mass entered the room, making everyone with a wand point it at the mass. I signalled to the teachers to stand down, and approach the mass. A tall figure with long black hair, deathly pale skin, and robes that seemed to have shifting spirits screaming and trapped in the obsidian black fabric.

"Father? What do you want?" I said loudly. Almost all of the students and teachers alike shivered and muttered.

"Your time is up now. I have come to take you, Hazel and your friends home." He replied in a cold voice, free of any emotion.

I give him a look. "Home?" I hoped he didn't mean the Underworld.

"Camp." He waved his arm dismissively.

I nodded. I went over to the Gryffindor table, said my goodbyes, and thanked my... friends...

The rest of the demigods approached Hades and gave slight bows, and Hazel went over to him and gave him a hug.

I waved at Dumbledore, and took my fiance's hand, as we were shadow travelled back home. My home.

Harry's POV

A couple of days after Nico went home, things started calming down at the castle. I will admit it, I miss that mysterious guy, always blessing us with sarcastic remarks or (occasionally) heartfelt comments. He left so abruptly, with that man who he called his father.

That man reminded me so much of Voldemort. The same chilling voice, the same aura of pure power. I could tell he was Nico's father, but Hazel's? That was a surprise.

At breakfast that morning, I saw Hedwig swooping down with a package. It was small-ish and had a letter on top. I opened the letter first, which was abnormally large.

Dear Harry, Ron and Hermione. (do NOT let anybody else read this)

Frank is writing this for me, as you know I have dyslexia. I am deeply sorry about leaving so abruptly, but my father is a fan of the mysterious (Percy just said that that's where my flare for dramatics came from), and he doesn't really understand (or care) that I would want to say a proper goodbye.

I know I never said what I am. I am definitely not a Wizard, although I found out that my mother was one. Father said one of the reasons I was picked was because I may become what he called an 'Obsucurial', which is an out of control being of shadows. Although, I'm pretty sure that describes me well.

I left this book for you to explain what I am. I changed some of the things in it to make it correct, and I hope it helps. I left a Drachma for each of you if you are ever in need to contact me. Just throw it into a rainbow, and say;

O Iris, goddess of the rainbow, accept my offering and show me _______.

If you ever meet something like we fought in that battle, kill it with the weapons I gave you. I just want to say how brave the three of you were. You are all heroes.

Thank you for trusting me and being my friend,

Nico Di Angelo

We opened the package, and inside was a book about... Greek mythology? There was also a pouch of gold coins, three of them.

Hermione opened the book, "Well, here goes nothing..."

Nico Di Angelo is a son of Hades. He is a Demigod.

Thanks so much, everyone for reading my story. I realise that it is very long, and probably half of you dropped off it early on, but thank you so much for everything you guys have done for me.

You all made me way more confident with my writing, and all of your hilarious and sweet comments were the amazing encouragement.

As some of you know, I am going to make a series of Nico Di Angelo crossover stories, and the next in line is a short story that I'm gonna call 'An unexpected trip to Argentina'.

Thanks so much for the people who have been encouraging me from day one, and those who came later but cwere seriously encouraging. I loved our little comment sections.

Love you all so much,

KatWeasley1 xx
