I crash onto the bed, finally letting my tears flow freely. I knew something had happened between them. A quarrel, a disagreement, whatever that could have happened between best friends, but I never expected an...an affair. The hickey on Koushi's neck, imprinted by Dai-chan himself. No wonder Koushi had looked so shocked when I told him. No wonder he told me not to tell Daichi. It wasn't because of the nagging but because he didn't want Daichi to be even more guilty than he already is.
Betrayal. Love. Anger. Sorrow. Pain. All mixed and stuffed in the remnants of my heart. It hurts. I wish Daichi had not told me.
Now I can no longer see both of them the same way. Daichi, no longer my precious Dai-chan. Koushi, I...I hate him. Part of me knows I shouldn't. Koushi did nothing wrong. But the smile he gave me this afternoon now seems so menancing, so foreign.
I don't know anymore... I just don't know anymore... I hate this. I pick up our wedding photo on the bedside table, staring at Daichi's handsome face. "I hate you Daichi. I hate you."
