*Yui's POV*
Maybe it's because of the trust I lost in Koushi overnight, his words didn't seem convincing any bit. It seemed fake. For the first time in my life, I could really see what was going on in the misty grey pools of his. The usual happiness he radiated had vanished, perfectly replaced with guilt and worry... and pain? But as soon as the glint of pain in his eyes appeared, it disappeared, as if it was just a trick of the light.
Nonetheless, I thank him for his hospitality and worry, finally heading out for home.
I get home. Daichi is awake, sitting by the balcony. He turns around as I step in. "Yui..." he softly whispers.
"Where is Rei?"
"I sent her to daycare."
"How about your work?"
"I took leave..."
"Ok." I walk towards the bedroom.
"Yui wait!"
I stop.
