Caroline's POV:

"Let's go to cafe . " He said .

"Yes"

Then he started driving .
We reached the cafe and Aron came and opened my car door .

"Thanks mister . "

"Welcome miss !! "

We went inside the cafe and placed the order .

"I want a cold coffee and some sandwich . " I said .

"Same for me . "

"So you like sandwiches ? " I asked.

"Yeah I love them . "

"So you should try sandwiches made by me . Nick just loves them . He calls them Caro special sandwich . " I said .

"So you and Nick are best friends since high school right ?"

"No . We are best friends since primary classes . Initially he was my neighbour . So our families are also very close ."

"So why aren't you both in a relationship ? " He said , his tone a bit sad .

"Aron , Nick is my best friend . And we are just like you and Angelina . We aren't attracted towards each other in that way . "

"So didn't you ever had crush on anyone ? " He asked .
Now see my condition . My crush is sitting infront of me and asking me wether I have a crush .

"Yes . I had one . "

"Who was it ? "

"Someone . But now I am not thinking about that matter . May be we weren't meant to be together . "

"Ohh sorry . "

"No problem chill . Aron can I ask you something ? "

"Yes . "

"Why aren't you and Rehana together now ? " I was afraid to ask this . I thought that this may trigger his anger again .
He was silent for sometime but then spoke ,

"Caroline , I want to repeat the same lines . May be we weren't meant to be together . " He said a bit sad .

"He still cries for her . He still has a soft corner for her . " My inner voice said . Listening to all these broke my heart . I thought that Aron is trying to move on. But no he still loves her .

A lone tear fell from my eyes .

"Caroline are you crying ? " He asked .

Ohh my god . I need to hide this from him.

"No Aron , I think something fell in my eyes . "

"Is it fine now ?"

"Yeah . " I said . Then the waiter came back with our cold coffee and sandwich.

Caroline you need to understand this . Aron loves Rehana . He cannot ever love you . Nick said the same thing to me . I shouldn't expect anything from him . We can just be good friends .

"Caroline you fine ? " Aron asked .

"Yeah sorry was thinking about something else . "

"Thanks Caroline . "

"Thanks for what ? "

"Everything . "

"Everything ? What did I do for you Aron ? "

"You made me laugh , you made me enjoy my life ,you made me forget my pain and you taught me how to make beautiful girls your best friends ." He said with a wink.

I blushed because of his last line .

"So over or wanna eat something else ? " He asked .

"Nahh , am full ."

"Sure ? "

"Yup . "

"So let's go . "

"Yah sure . But Aron listen , I will pay the bill . "

"You ? But why ? "

"Just like that . Please don't say no . "

"No Caroline . Why do .... "

"Please Aron . Pleaseeeeeeeeeee !!!!! "

"Fineeeeeeeeee. "

Then I payed the bill and we headed towards the car .

Aron dropped me at home saying a good bye with a wink .

"Goodnight beautiful "

"Goodnight Aron ."

I unlocked my apartment and went inside . I was so so so tired . Today was a day well spent .

As I entered into my room suddenly two guys sprang upon me in the dark .

Ohh my god . Who are they ? It was really dark and I couldn't see them .
