Carl's POV

I was sent to get Logan so we can both go into quarantine and Logan was sobbing.

"Logan?" I called.

"No don't come near me" Logan said.

"what?" I asked.

"I have it" Logan said.

Maggie was running and she was upset too.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Trying to get Glenn to the cell block of the sick"
Maggie said.

"How about you take Logan?" I asked.

"Why?" Maggie asked.

"She has it too" I said.

Glenn and Logan went to the cell block together.
So they could get better.

I wasn't too happy that my sister got sick. And that I had to be up in the area where kids weren't sick.
I saw Hershel walking in the hall.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"I'm down here away from y'all 'cause you kids are supposed to stay away from me." Hershel said

"I've been walking the halls. My dad told me to look out for everyone." I said.

"Well, you should keep your distance." Hershel said.

"You're walking towards the exit." I said.

"I  need to go out there." Hershel said.

"To the cell blocks?" I asked.

"To the woods." Hershel said.

"So you're sneaking out." I said.

"Don't need anyone worrying about me and I damn sure don't want someone telling me I can't go." Hershel said.

"I can't just let you go out into the woods by yourself." I said.

"Let me?" Hershel asked.

"I can't stop you.But I have to tell my dad." I said.

"Go ahead, then.I'll be out there by the time you find him." Hershel said.

"Hershel.If you have to go, then I have to come with you." I said.

"Carl." Hershel said.

"I have to. I want my little sister better" I said.

I went out to the woods with Hershel and I kept watch for walkers.

"When did your dad give it back?"
Hershel asking about me having my gun.

"Yesterday. After everything happened." I said.

"You've grown a lot these last few months. And Logan.
There's a responsibility about you two
I think it's done you two good to step back." Hershel said.

"Yeah.It was all right.Can't be like that all the time." I said.

"I would have been fine on my own.
It's peaceful out here.
These last couple days, we might be safer outside those walls than in." Hershel said

"No, we're not." I said pointing my gun at something.

"Let's wrap this up." Hershel said.

I saw walker coming and I was about to shoot it and Hershel told me that I didn't need too. We both went back to the prison.

Logan's POV

I was in the cell block where people were sick I was miserable and Glenn motioned me to come close and he hugged me and reassured me that me and him were gonna be okay and that Hershel was coming back with some stuff that will make us feel better.
