Chapter 10

~Giulia POV~

The look on Ellie's face whenever she sees Martinus and Lilly together or even Martinus, makes me feel so guilty, that I asked if Martinus could come to see if they could be together again. But of course, I had to find out the information the Martinus had a girlfriend when they were already on the plane and I couldn't do anything.

But a positive did come out of this though, I got to see Marcus again. Hug him, kiss him, hear his voice in real life, smell him, cuddle with him and hear him say I love you in real life. I know he will have to go back and continue his career which I'm trying not to think about at the moment.

~Marcus POV~

I'm so glad I get to see Giulia but everything between Martinus and Ellie, is so weird. You can tell they both love each other but everything between them and all the obstacles they have to face just to with each other.

~Ellie POV~

I walked downstairs to get breakfast before I head off to training with the two teams. When I walked into the kitchen I saw Martinus standing there eating a bowl of cereal. I grabbed a bowl from the cupboard and grabbed the milk and coco pops. We were just standing there eating our cereal in really awkward silence. Until he spoke up saying

Martinus- Can I come to training with you?

Ellie- Why?

Martinus- Please, I need to get away from Lilly.

Ellie- I thought you guys were girlfriend and boyfriend?

Martinus- Don't believe everything you hear.

I am so happy right now. I can't even believe it. Martinus and Lilly aren't actually dating only for publicity. 

Ellie- Sure. Make sure you're ready in 5 minutes.

He nodded his head with a huge grin on his face and raced upstairs to get changed. I finished off my cereal and packed my bag. I got to the front door and Martinus racing down the stairs but tripping over his feet and him ending up falling down. I had a small chuckle before helping him up, he turned his head and said

Martinus- It's not funny.

Ellie- Come on superstar, toughen up.

Martinus- I am tough.

Ellie- Then prove it.

I said challenging his masculinity. We both walked out of the house and sat in my car. While we were driving I turned on the radio and of course, Martinus' song had to come on. One Flight Away.

Martinus- Did you know I wrote this song.

Ellie- Really and what was your inspiration superstar.

Martinus- A very special girl.

I felt a ping of jealousy when he said 'a very special girl'. I knew he wouldn't still care about me like I care about him after 7 years. We finally pulled up at the oval and we both got out with Martinus following me to the entrance. I placed my bag down and started running laps around the oval. I looked behind me to see Martinus just standing there so I yelled out

Ellie- Are you coming superstar?

I saw a smile spread across his face before he started jogging towards me. We just jogged around the oval a few times talking about the most random things. Once we got back everyone was there so I decided I should introduce everyone to Martinus.

Ellie- So everyone, this is Martinus and he is joining us with training today.

Marcus Bontempelli- Isn't that the guy---

I quickly ran over to him and put my hand over his mouth so he couldn't say anything more.

Katie- How do you know Martinus Gunnarsen anyway, he's like super famous and you're like a footballer?

I was a little hurt by her choice of words but she doesn't like me that much anyway.

Ellie- We were next door neighbours for a little bit. So let's get this training session started.

Emma- Can some of us get a photo with Martinus before we start?

I looked over at him and he gave me a small nod before I said

Ellie- Sure.

After all the girls finished getting photos with him I started the training session and we played a few small games of football. I enjoyed watching Martinus try to keep up with everyone. It was cute.

Damn it, I falling way harder then I did last time. But the only question is... 

Will he be there to catch me?
