~Martinus POV~
I couldn't g any longer without feeling all this guilt about leaving Ellie just like that and I miss her so freaking much. I've heard some of the things Marcus has told me about Ellie and I feel terrible. How she trains more, sometimes he can hear her crying in her room.
So I decided to visit her. I knew she wouldn't be at her house but at the training, oval were she always trains to get all her sadness and frustration out. When I got there I saw she was running laps around the oval, when she saw me she sprinted over to me and gave me the biggest hug in her life.
I love this. Just her in my arms. I could never think of anything better.
~Ellie POV~
Martinus put me back down on the ground and then I said to him
Ellie- What are you doing here?
Martinus- I couldn't stay away from you any longer and I knew you would be here.
Ellie- Why did you leave?
He put his hands on my shoulders and looked straight into my eyes
Martinus- I am so sorry for leaving you. I didn't want to, I didn't have any other choice. I am so sorry, I know-
Ellie- Martinus, it's okay. I'm not angry at you. I could never be angry at you I love you so much. Always have and always will.
I can't believe I just said I love you to him. I know he loves me but this just makes everything real now. I love him and he loves me.
~Martinus POV~
I can't believe she just said I love you to me. I am so happy at the moment. This would have to be the best day ever apart from the first day I met her.
~Ellie POV~
He pulled me into a hug, I felt Martinus' warm breath on my ear and he whispered in my ear
Martinus- I love you too El
My heart feels like it could explode right now. I know he said I love you in the note mt he actually said it to me this time. In person. I think I might die. He pulled out of the hug and said
Martinus- I still owe you an explanation of why I had to leave. I feel like a jerk for leaving you and I am so sorry. So how about you start teaching me footy again and we'll talk while we train.
