You climbed down the staircase as the night was very quiet. So quiet that you could only hear the sound of crickets, the lift of the atmosphere and twigs cracking at the moment of meeting the wind.

You then heard it again. The sound of gate creaking. The guards were roaming by the sides and the back.

No one was at the front.

You were trained to be brave, to be fearless. But you could never deny that you also had your own fears.

Your hands shivered at the sight of seeing someone by the gate. You calmed down after realizing that it was just a girl.

"Miss. What are you doing here late at night?" You asked as she held on to the chain connected with a padlock.

"I just want to see BTS...This is their dormitory right? Let me see them. Just one glance, please." Her breath faded into the cold.

Is this what idols have to go through as famous icons? They can't have their privacy even if they want and need to. You never expected that someone, anyone, would even wander at night and risk their life just for a KPOP group.

There stood your second discovery. Being famous isn't always luxury and fun.

___

BTS P.O.V.
"There it is. There's just too much stress...I think I'll faint by any minute now. I don't want to get shot." Hoseok says as he wipes his sweaty forehead with the sleeve of his hoodie.

"Thinking that we've been rescheduled...the day after tomorrow." Yoongi sighs. "I haven't even practiced yet." Jimin puts his chin on his palm.

"Guys, guys, let's calm down. We've been doing this for years. We won't get shot. Just believe~" Taehyung calmly puts a tune on the last part while moving his arms up, imitating an airplane.

"Hyungs. That's where the body guard comes in."

___

"Hyung, should we really tell her now?" Jungkook asks.

"Well, if not now, when? Learn to take chances, maknae." Namjoon smiles.

All seven heads turned when they heard you at the opposite side of the door, saying, "Permission to come in, sirs." You came in as soon as they agreed in unison.

"Is there any problem with my service?" you asked not with a straight face, but with an angelic, curious one this time.

"No, nothing at all. You're actually doing good, considering that you're very brave." "We didn't expect what you did last night. Others would just, let that girl walk home on her own. But you didn't let her."

Your eyes widened at the moment of hearing that. "You guys saw that?" "Well, we didn't exactly see. Eun Hae and Na Ri told us this morning." Seokjin grinned.

"To say it shortly, you were amazing."

"T-thank you." Your eyes widened at the moment of hearing yourself stutter in front of them. "Thank you for... your feedback. I'll keep doing my best at my job."

You bowed slightly at them. You then heard Jimin say something. "Miss Park, we are going to ask a favor from you, if it's not a big deal." Your brows rose.

"Sir Park, please go straight to the point so I may prepare if there's anything else you'll need."
"What he means is, can you escort us for our upcoming concert?"

"Well, you actually don't have to ask. I was assigned to escort you everywhere automatically." You smiled.

"L-look hyungs! She's smiling! There look!" Taehyung childishly points at you, as if he had seen someone smile for the first time. You on the other hand, quickly removed your smile off your face.

"Hyung, you didn't include me. I wanted to see her smile too." Jungkook pouted."Sorry, Kookie." You did your best to hide a huge grin when Taehyung tried to hug the younger one.

"Miss Park, I know you said that you can't really smile at all times during your duty but here's the thing. You should smile more often. It looks good on you." Hoseok compliments as a light shade of pink tints your cheeks, his grin turning it redder by the second.

"And not just because you were assigned as our body guard doesn't mean we can't be your friends." Namjoon says and all seven of them smiles, and that just, melted your heart.
