Only day has passed and but you learned more things about the seven men you were assigned to.
You saw that they weren't arrogant and they were humble, they never thought of lying and all in all they were basically, kind-hearted.
They doubted you like you've doubted them.
Today was their concert. The things they needed were all being prepared and put inside their van. They were going to the Seoul Arena for their rescheduled concert.
You ironed your uniform down. It was your favorite uniform, the one you whore when you first graduated in your police academy. You flattened everything as you wore it.
Your badges were pinned down. Everything was perfect. Your hair was sleeked down and you pinned the remaining fly aways.
"Aww. Our officer is her looking her best." Eun Hae says while faking a tear. Na Ri jokingly pushes her away with a disgusted face. "Gosh Eun Hae, stop crying. She's not dying yet."
Na Ri then stands up and goes to you, fixing a folded part of your collar. Her fingers then brush through your badges. "Are you sure you're ready? Anything could happen."
"I'm ready for anything." You smile, but it then fades away when you had this bad feeling in you that something's going to happen.
___
"Permission to come in, sirs." You say as you knock. You came in as soon as they approved.
"Do you really have to say that before you enter? Others would just simply barge in." Yoongi hides his hair in his cap.
"It's part of our rules. And barging in simply means disrespecting your privacy. Anyways, is everybody ready? We're about to depart in five minutes." You say as you look at your watch.
"Hyungs, look at this," Jungkook shows his phone to the other six who were curious. "It's another death threat saying that someone will shoot me before the concert."
All seven were washed with panic and nervousness. "May I see?" Jungkook hands you his phone.
"Once your maknae sets foot on our grounds, we'll make sure none of your beloved ARMYs will hear or see him again."
You weren't that close with them yet but you were sure to protect them with your life. Especially Jungkook.
Now that he's the target.
Once you escorted them out of the room, you heard Taehyung call you.
"Miss Y/N, please take this." he says with a big smile on his face.
"I-Is this your concert ticket?" You stuttered as you just realized he gave you something worth thousands.
"It would mean alot to me if you were there. Please watch us."
"I can't accept this. Can't you just give it to another fan? I'm sure it would mean a lot more to them than to me."
"But I want you to have it. You were making sure we were safe at all costs. You deserve this. Please take it not as a reward or anything. Consider it as a gift."
"Okay then. I'll watch." You said with a smile.
"Jinjja?! Don't break your promise." He brought out his pinky finger. You chuckled as you interlocked yours with it, concealing the promise.
He was then called. He left you on the empty corridor.
You placed the ticket on your pocket.
After a few moments, you looked at the ticket, placing it in your hand. Watching them actually wouldn't hurt. You thought of giving them to Jisung, but you couldn't. He was miles away from you. And, doing that would hurt Taehyung's feelings.
___
The van couldn't move further. The vehicle were meters away from the hotel BTS were supposed to stay at before their concert.
"We have arrived. Please bring only your belongings. We'll take care of the rest. Jungkook-ssi, please be the first. And hurry. We need to ensure your safety."
"Okay. Thank you." Jungkook says, his face covered with his mask.
The seven then stepped out and start walking. You were eyeing the surrounding from every direction, every angle.
You were almost to the main entrance when you spotted a sniper aiming at the seven on a tall, abandoned building.
You then saw that the person was aiming at Taehyung. He was the very last, the one being left out in the group in other words.
"Sniper! Please hurry!" They walked faster, almost running when the sniper pulled the trigger.
You couldn't think of anything anymore. Before it could hit him, you took it. You felt the small matter pass through your flesh, on your abdomen. You fell down.
Everyone panicked as soon as they saw you were shot. "Y/N don't move! You're bleeding!" Eun Hae held you by your arm.
You touched her shoulder. "C-call back up." You were slowly losing your conciousness. Out of instincts, you took your pistol out from your holster.
Your hands were shaking as you brought the gun up, both hands secured to the handle as you aimed from a far.
You could feel yourself trembling as you swiftly pulled the trigger, your grip weakening as you heard a loud 'bang!', the strong stench of iron filling the air wrapping you.
