Eversince that day, I couldn't face Hongseok, well not properly at least.
Everytime I'd see him, be it at lunch or in the hallways, I just smiled and ran away. Whenever I ran away from him,I used to look back at him and he always looked as if he were betrayed. I don't know why but I felt happy knowing that he cares.
But you should see what happens to me whenever he texts me and I'm at home. You know how a fangirl reacts if her idol comes up to her. Thats exactly how I felt. My heart used to skip a beat just on the thought of him. I honestly don't know how to explain how I feel when he smiles, when he talks, just the sound of his voice was enough to give me butterflies. I know we were just for pretend. But would be bad if we were real? Nevertheless, I know there will be a day, I'll have to face these feelings. I was at school when I decided to go to Hongseok and atleast try to confess. When the bell for recess rang, I took a deep breathe and got up from my seat.
"You look like you're going to fight a war" Hwitaek said and laughed.
I smiled and said," Something like that"
"Well good luck" Hwitaek said and smiled.
"Thanks. I'm really going to need it" I chuckled.
"By the way Jisoo, do you know who is Hongseok's-" Changgu was saying but Hwitaek covered his mouth.
"He's just blabbering useless stuff" Hwitaek said and chuckled.
"Okay....byee" I said and chuckled. I went to his classroom and he wasn't there so I figured he was at the back of the school. On my way, I bumped into Shinwon.
"Hi Jisoo!" Shinwon said and waved.
"Hi! Do you know where Hongseok is?" I asked.
"Yeah he-" he paused," Nope I don't know"
"Okay then, I'll go find him, if you bump into him, tell him that I'm looking for him" I said, smiled and started walking towards the back of the school.
"On second thought, I do know where he is" Shinwon grabbed my hand and said.
He took me to Hongseok, or thats what he was supposed to. Because of him, I found out about the places in my school that I didn't even knew existed. Then we finally came to the back of the school. I wanted to walk towards it but SHINWON WAS BEING A BIT OF A BARRIER!
"Umm....Shinwon? Can you move?" I asked.
"Lets go have lunch first, then we'll look for him" Shinwon said while pushing me or trying to push me.
"Move or else-" I said.
"Fine, but remember this no matter what happens, I'll always be there for you" Shinwon said and moved aside.
"Okay why are you being like this? Its not like we won't meet aga-" I was talking but then I saw Hongseok and her.
Tears started dwelling up in my eyes.I don't know how to explain how I feel. I feel like my heart was just shattered into a million pieces. I wanted to yell but my throat went dry. I haven't felt this way in a long time, can someone please take this feeling away from me? I ran. Ran away as far as I could. I heard Shinwon yelling from behind but I didn't stop.
End the pain, please?
