Allison, Elena's best friend use to be this cheery, upbeat, bubbly girl, the girl that everyone wanted to be like, but that all changed when her mother died and her brother left town. Things start to change when a new student named Stefan Salvatore...
Allison and Damon walked onto the dance floor and he turned to her. He placed a hand around her waist and held one of her hands as she put a hand on his back. They had begun to dance and as they were Damon's eyes never left her face. There was no denying that she was beautiful, anybody would have to be an idiot if they didn't think so. Maybe Allison would have been a better choice then Caroline to have around all the time. "Your hair is curly." Damon pointed out. "I like it." Allison smiled lightly, "umm, yeah. I wanted to do something different." She told him.
He smiled a charming smile and Allie sighed loudly, "your here with Caroline. Why don't you dance with her?" She questioned. He rolled his eyes and sighed, "you were right." Allison raised her eyes in confusion. "She is too peppy for me. I'm more into the low maintenance kind of girls." He said the last part suggestively and wiggled his eyebrows. She simply rolled her eyes.
"Well, Caroline already hates me enough as it is so I would rather not give her another reason to hate me." She told him. Damon twirled her and said, "too late." Allison only laughed and continued to dance with him. She quickly glanced at Stefan and Elena and saw that they were no longer dancing. They seemed to be in some sort of argument and Allison became worried. Would Stefan hurt her if he got to angry? She stopped dancing and Damon looked down at her in confusion before he looked in the direction she was staring.
He knew Elena and Stefan were arguing and he was glad. He had told her all of the stories about him, Stefan and Katherine and it was clear she wouldn't be able to ignore them forever. Well, he had completed most of his to do list; mess with Stefan, Elena and Allison. Now he had to get the crystal.
Allison turned back to Damon and asked, "do you know what's going on?" Damon rose an eyebrow and said, "no. Why would I know?" Her eyes narrowed, "because all the stories you were telling earlier were all just to make Elena question Stefan over this Katherine chick." He sighed, "okay, you got me." Allison shook her head, "what the hell is wrong with you?" Damon only shrugged his shoulders.
Damon suddenly saw a man walking towards them with graying hair and dark eyes. Allison saw that Damon was no longer looking at her so she turned her head to see what had caught his attention. She sighed and rolled her eyes as she saw her father walking towards them. He did not look happy, not that she cared. He came right towards them and said in a steely voice, "we need to talk." Allison only glared heavily at him and said, "well I don't really want to talk, especially not to you."
Damon watched the confrontation and his eyebrows rose in slight worry for Allison when David grabbed her arm and yanked it causing her hand to slip from his. Damon tapped David's shoulder and said, "we haven't met. I'm Damon Salvatore." He held out his hand for him to shake. David became interested when her heard the name Salvatore and shook his hand. "David Carter. Zach didn't mention he had family." Damon smirked and raised an eyebrow. David and Allison didn't look alike if they were father and daughter, but he answered cockily, "well, he doesn't like to brag." Allison scoffed at his remark.
"Well, I'll have to talk to you some other time. I need to talk with my daughter." He practically spat the word daughter out and pulled on her arm dragging her away. Allison managed to let out a mumbled, "bye, Damon" before they rounded the corner and were out of his sight.
Strangely Damon felt bad for not being able to do something. He could sympathize with her on this, but realized quickly that he shouldn't feel bad. He immediately shook off the feeling and smirked as he watched Elena storm off and Stefan glare at him. It was time for him to go and get the crystal.
