Nightshard's promise

as a baby dragonet, nightshard used to escape from Vulcan often and wander to the place she was first born. she once went there but was getting hunted due to her stary scales. but a giant dragon (ontop) came and scared then away

years later nightshard visited the forest "S͓̽U͓̽P͓̽E͓̽R͓̽N͓̽O͓̽V͓̽A͓̽A͓̽A͓̽A͓̽" she roared out happily while bounding around, coming to the massive massive always blooming cherry tree. it wad on a island in the middle of a lake

the massive dragon crawled down the tree looked at her "h͓̽e͓̽l͓̽l͓̽o͓̽ l͓̽i͓̽t͓̽t͓̽l͓̽e͓̽ n͓̽i͓̽g͓̽h͓̽t͓̽s͓̽h͓̽a͓̽r͓̽d͓̽" he smiled "h͓̽o͓̽w͓̽ a͓̽r͓̽e͓̽ y͓̽o͓̽u͓̽ d͓̽o͓̽i͓̽n͓̽g͓̽ t͓̽o͓̽d͓̽a͓̽y͓̽?"

she giggled while wagging her tail "i͓̽m͓̽ g͓̽o͓̽o͓̽d͓̽! I͓̽'v͓̽e͓̽ b͓̽e͓̽e͓̽n͓̽ p͓̽r͓̽a͓̽c͓̽t͓̽i͓̽c͓̽i͓̽n͓̽g͓̽ m͓̽y͓̽ p͓̽o͓̽w͓̽e͓̽r͓̽s͓̽!"

"h͓̽a͓̽v͓̽e͓̽ y͓̽o͓̽u͓̽ l͓̽e͓̽a͓̽r͓̽n͓̽e͓̽d͓̽ y͓̽o͓̽u͓̽r͓̽ s͓̽u͓̽p͓̽e͓̽r͓̽ p͓̽o͓̽w͓̽e͓̽r͓̽f͓̽u͓̽l͓̽ m͓̽o͓̽v͓̽e͓̽?" he asks nuzzling her

"y͓̽e͓̽p͓̽!" she gurred. (dragon purr)

"r͓̽e͓̽m͓̽e͓̽m͓̽b͓̽e͓̽r͓̽ t͓̽o͓̽ o͓̽n͓̽l͓̽y͓̽ d͓̽o͓̽ i͓̽t͓̽ w͓̽h͓̽e͓̽n͓̽ y͓̽o͓̽u͓̽ a͓̽r͓̽e͓̽ i͓̽n͓̽ e͓̽x͓̽t͓̽r͓̽e͓̽m͓̽e͓̽ d͓̽a͓̽n͓̽g͓̽e͓̽r͓̽"

"o͓̽k͓̽i͓̽! c͓̽a͓̽n͓̽ i͓̽ l͓̽e͓̽a͓̽r͓̽n͓̽ e͓̽n͓̽g͓̽l͓̽i͓̽s͓̽h͓̽ n͓̽o͓̽w͓̽?"

"of course." he chuckled "o͓̽h͓̽ i͓̽ m͓̽u͓̽s͓̽t͓̽ s͓̽h͓̽o͓̽w͓̽ y͓̽o͓̽u͓̽ s͓̽o͓̽m͓̽e͓̽t͓̽h͓̽i͓̽n͓̽g͓̽ f͓̽i͓̽r͓̽s͓̽t͓̽."

"w͓̽h͓̽a͓̽t͓̽ i͓̽s͓̽ i͓̽t͓̽?"

Supernova flew into the tree with her to show her a egg that looked as clear as the milkyway from a hillside without lights. it had slight purple mist around it.

"n͓̽o͓̽t͓̽h͓̽i͓̽n͓̽g͓̽ w͓̽i͓̽l͓̽l͓̽ h͓̽a͓̽p͓̽p͓̽e͓̽n͓̽ t͓̽o͓̽ y͓̽o͓̽u͓̽! y͓̽o͓̽u͓̽'r͓̽e͓̽ s͓̽t͓̽r͓̽o͓̽n͓̽g͓̽. b͓̽u͓̽t͓̽ s͓̽u͓̽r͓̽e͓̽ y͓̽o͓̽u͓̽ c͓̽a͓̽n͓̽ c͓̽o͓̽u͓̽n͓̽t͓̽ o͓̽n͓̽ m͓̽e͓̽!" she made her starry scales glow brightly, confidently

more years go by and nightshard again ran to the dragons keep "S͓̽U͓̽U͓̽P͓̽E͓̽R͓̽! S͓̽U͓̽U͓̽U͓̽P͓̽E͓̽R͓̽-" she was interrupted by a group talking nearby. "n͓̽o͓̽ s͓̽c͓̽a͓̽v͓̽e͓̽n͓̽g͓̽e͓̽r͓̽s͓̽ (h͓̽u͓̽m͓̽a͓̽n͓̽s͓̽) c͓̽o͓̽m͓̽e͓̽ a͓̽r͓̽o͓̽u͓̽n͓̽d͓̽ h͓̽e͓̽r͓̽e͓̽..." she peaked out of some bushes she hid in and gasped

she saw at least 100 dead human bodies and 30 people with weapons and armor around a large dark dragon's body. she then realized that the stars on the wings were dull and the dragon wasnt moving.

a smaller dragon still larger then nightshard was pinned against the tree, crying hard. she looked up at the tree and saw nightshard in the bush, looking scared for her life. she then started to run while limping and flew off quickly

tears filled nightshard's eyes and anger welled inside of her. she saw the egg get dropped into the lake around the tree by a bird and it get sweeped away quickly. the humans scrambled to catch it but nightshard lept out and went onto the water. onto because the second she went to go in, ice formed under her feet. she grabbed the egg with her tail and fished it out.

the humans readied their weapons as nightshard stepped away from the water with the egg

"GET AWAY!" she roared but the humans came closer. her body soon felt freezing cold

"shes another one! lets catch her and make good money! it'll pay for the one you guys chased away" the leader said

nightshard wasnt tall to crush them like a ant but she stood tall, moving the egg behind her

as they all charged her she opened her mouth and a large cold wind went over the humans

"b-boss i-i feel really cold-!" a guy began saying as his skin turned pale. inside of him began to freeze and his heart stopped he fell over and froze.

one by one dropped like flies as onlu the leader was left since he avoided the wind.

nightshard looked down at him growling loudly. he began to escape but nightshard chased him, grabbing him in her mouth and crushing his legs with her teeth. then whipped his front around and crashed it into a tree.

that night the bodies were gone because of some other dragons wanting a snack. but nightshard dug a massive hole on the tree's island. she carefully flew across the river with the huge dragon in her mouth and put him in the hole. then covered it with soil and put a star made out of patched ice in the soil.

then she flew across the river and dug a little in a spot where she uncovered the egg, washing it off and put it in the nest.

curious she went to the leader's dead body (which was still there) and ripped his shirt off reading it. "...dark... children... children of the dark..?" she read confused. something told her that all those people that were there werent the last of them so she ran back.to the tree and flew up to the thickest branch where the nest was. then she curled around the egg, weeping softly until the morning rose

"i͓̽ p͓̽r͓̽o͓̽m͓̽i͓̽s͓̽e͓̽ y͓̽o͓̽u͓̽.. w͓̽i͓̽s͓̽p͓̽ w͓̽i͓̽l͓̽l͓̽ b͓̽e͓̽ s͓̽a͓̽f͓̽e͓̽ i͓̽f͓̽ i͓̽ c͓̽a͓̽n͓̽ h͓̽e͓̽l͓̽p͓̽ i͓̽t͓̽..."

(i used a base on the dragon just look up nightwing from wings of fire and you'll get it (i cant show it cause transparent thing))
