Tord cleared his throat.

"Yeah. I am."

He's abandoning you.

Tom flinched at the voice.

He can't stand being around you anymore.

Shut up.

Tom, you accepted me. I won't be so easy to get rid of now.

Tom tried to ignore it.

"We're over... aren't we?" Tom's voice came out as a whisper.

"Haven't we been over?" Tord sighed gently. "It was fun. I liked hanging out with you and I'm happy you're out of David's house."

"Yeah," was all Tom said. He watched as Tord turned to leave.

I hope you're happy. Look at what you did. You drove him away. This is your fault.
