《 Tia's POV 》

"Tony," Tony introduced himself (although that was probably unnecessary, he's famous. Literally everyone knows who he is).

"I'm Tia, nice to meet you!" I waved. Don't start squealing again. May looked beside herself with excitement.

A confused grin was forming on Peter's face, "What are you, uh, what are you doing here?"

"It's about time we met," Tony shrugged serenely, winking at the younger male, "You've been getting my emails, right?"

Nice cover story... I thought appreciatively. Peter glanced at May, then at me, clearly unsure of what to do. I nodded subtly.

"Y-yeah..." He said eventually, "Regarding the...?"

"You didn't even tell me about the ground!" May interrupted.

"It's about the ground..." Peter followed along with the story, shooting me a weird look as I now gave him the 'thumbs up'.

"The September Foundation, right? Remember when you applied?" Tony continued. Peter nodded hurriedly. May made a 'WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME' gesture at Peter. He looked so confused. Ignore my fangirling in the corner.

"I approved," Tony raised a teacup, "So now we're in business."

"You didn't tell me anything! What's up with that? You're keeping secrets from me now?" May exclaimed, indignation spiking her voice. Tony took a drawn-out sip of tea. I had to turn away to stifle my giggles. Well, that's not the only secret, hahahaha!

"Well, I just, I know how much you... love surprises!" Peter said quickly, "So I thought I would let you know... Um... Anyway, what did I apply for?"

"That's what I'm here to tell you," Tony set his teacup down and eyed the boy, then turned to May, "It's so hard to believe that you're someone's Aunt!"

OI. Are you flirting with her? Dude, I know you're upset about Steve ditching you for Bucky, but WOOOW.

May laughed, "Yeah, well... We come in all shapes and sizes, you know!"

Peter looked scandalized. I caught his eye and shrugged, trying to convey to him that FLIRTING wasn't PART OF THE PLAN, TONY.

"Can... I just stop you there?" Peter interrupted, holding up a hand.

"Yeah..." I agreed hesitantly, "We've kinda gotten off track here..."

STOP FLIRTING, TONY, AND GET BACK TO THE ORIGINAL OBJECTIVE!! Geez... Adults.

Tony glanced at me, and I raised both my hands as if to say 'Well, what did you expect'.

"Has this grant, like... Got money involved or whatever...? No...?" Peter asked casually. Aaand we're off topic again.

"Yeah, yeah," Tony affirmed cheerily, "It's pretty well-funded. Look who you're talking to!"

I could tell Peter was pretty excited. I locked gazes with Tony over May's shoulder and jerked my head. Thankfully, he got the hint.

"Could I get five minutes alone with him?" Tony asked May. She nodded, raising an approving eyebrow.

Tony nodded and beckoned for me to go with Peter. Peter grinned awkwardly at May and led us over to his room. I'm remembering the Homecoming scene where Ned finds out Peter's Spider-Man... Don't start laughing for apparently no reason. Don't.
