Chapter 20

"WITH JUST ONE MINUTE LEFT TODOROKI'S GOT FOUR HEADBANDS!!, HE SNATCHED BREAKOUT STAR MIDORIYA'S AND WITH IT FIRST PLACE!!" Present mic announces so you throw your head back to stare at the ice arena.
'M-Midoriya!!-' you think in shock until your thought is cut off.
"C'MON SLAVES!!" Bakugo screams as your team bounds for team Monoma.
"WAIT JUST ONE STINKING MINUTE!!" Bakugo yells, catching Monoma's attention as he flings himself forward.
"GET BACK HERE BAKUGOOO!" Eijiro yells so you activate your quirk to grab him, your chains wrap around him but you don't tug back until...
"Tsuburaba guard!!" Monoma yells so the said teen concentrates to form a solid plan of glass under Bakugo's feet, rage burns in his eyes as he prepares to punch it.
"I'LL TAKE THAT!!!" Bakugo yells as he snatches two headbands then you tug him back onto your team's shoulders.
"BAKUGO TOOK TWO HEADBANDS!! NOW TEAM BAKUGO IS IN SECOND PLACE WITH ELEVEN THOUSAND AND EIGHTY FIVE POINTS!!" Present Mic yells earning a cheer of approval from you and your team, Bakugo smirks to show his might over Midoriya.
"GUYS WE DID IT! WE'RE GUARANTEED TO MOVE ON NOW!" Ashido yells with a face of pure excitement, you honestly can't blame her because well... there's nothing better than out doing a sibling, you can't help to smirk a tad at Tetsutetsu's frantic yells about your team being ahead by sixty points.
'Damn I think King explosion murder here has influenced me' you sweat drop as you realize that you just had a moment of acting like Bakugo.
Team Monoma dashes off to protect their last headband as you watch your surrounding area closely (mostly to make sure that Tetsutetsu isn't plotting) because you are not going to drop second place.
"I AINT DONE YET!!," Bakugo yells just before he starts slamming his fists in Eijiro's head "I'M NOT SETTLING FOR SOME HALF ASSED FIRST PLACE!!".
"What the hell Bakugo?! What are you talking about?" You question making him glare at you.
"I know you want to win too Kusari! This is our chance to be on top! To defeat the extras!," Bakugo explains so you sigh "and before I couldn't brace myself going at it... for the most part alone so MOVE IT!!".
Shock overcomes you when you take into mind that Bakugo actually admitted he needed his team for something... you will help to defeat the 'extras' as Bakugo calls them and continue to fight for your team.
"WE'RE TAKING OUR POINTS BACK!! AND WE ARE TAKING THE TEN MILLION ALSO" Bakugo battle cries as you grit your teeth with a smile, time for a fight.
"SOY SAUCE FACE!! TAPE NOW!!" Bakugo commands so Sero connects him to his tape and sighs.
"My name is SERO!!".
"RACCOON EYES MELT A PATH FOR US WITH THAT LIQUID!!" Bakugo yells to Ashido so she shakes her head.
"IT'S MINA, MINA ASHIDO!!" Ashido yells with exasperation before doing as she is told.
Soon with the help of Ashido your team makes their way and Bakugo holds his hand out to grab the final headband until...
"BAKUGO IS ABSOLUTELY MERCILESS!!" Present Mic yells in amazement.
"MEXT UP DEKU AND TODOROKI!" Bakugo announces.
'Twenty seconds...'
Midoriya takes a headband from team Todoroki after disabling Todoroki's fire quirk, only seventy points is added to his team's total.
"SPEED UP!" You all so Bakugo nods.
"LISTEN TO KUSARI!!" Bakugo yells in response, the team complies.
'Ten seconds...'
'Nine...'
'Eight...'
'Seven...'
'Fuck this.'
"GO BAKUGO!!" You cheer before...
"ONE! TIME'S UP!" Midnight announces before Bakugo falls on his face and you flop to your legs before your chains fall off.
"We were so close!" You growl in annoyance before huffing and just closing your eyes to rest for a moment.
"IN FIRST PLACE TEAM TODOROKI! IN SECOND TEAM BAKUGO! IN THIRD TEAM TETSU- WHAT?! I MEAN TEAM SHINSO, IN FOURTH... TEAM MIDORIYA!...," present mic screams as Midoriya falls to his knees and cries with water streaming out of his eyes like a water fountain "THESE TEAMS WILL MOVE ON TO THE FINAL EVENT!"
"C'mon (y/n)... we still did it didn't we." Eijiro says before he grabs your hand and pulls you up with a smile as bright as the sun.
"LUNCH BREAK!!" The words fill your ears so you look away from Eijiro so he chuckles.
"I guess you're hungry." Eijiro chuckles so you look from him and to the now forming line...
"YEEEETTT!!" You scream as you run away from him earning a sweat drop then him running after you.
"WAIT UP (Y/N)!!! Eijiro screams while laughing as he chases after you.

Bonus (lunch break):

"Kusari fight me."
"No."
"Fight me!"
"No."
"FIGHT MEEEE KUSARI!!!" Bakugo screams as you take a bite of your food.
"No." You respond seconds after.
"Jeez are you both rivals now?" Eijiro laughs as Bakugo fumes.
"NO I JUST WANNA FIGHT!" Bakugo yells so you shake your head as you suppress a chuckle and take another bite.
"Hey (y/n)-chan we are in charge of half time so do you wanna join us?" Ochako questions so you nod and steal some food from Bakugo's plate.
"YEAH I'LL JOIN!" You announce as you hop over the table and run away with the girls while Bakugo screams from behind you.
"I'M GONNA KILL HER!!" Bakugo yells as Eijiro releases a nervous chuckle from next to him.
'(Y/n) what have you done?' Eijiro laughs nervously in his mind as Bakugo turns his head and points at him.
"I'm gonna fight her!"
"BAKUGO NO! THAT'S NOT MANLY!"
"THEN ASK HER OUT!"
"EHHH?!"
