Min Yoongi looked in the direction of the voice and saw a man a little taller than himself. His flicked his head to get a few of the greying strands of hair out of his eyes, his mouth agape slightly in surprise of the other. His eyes trailed over the details of the seemingly mundane person standing before him. There was something about this guy he just couldn't quite put his finger on...

"Excuse me." The man repeats. "I saw you, before, was that magic?" He asks. His voice was interesting to Yoongi, sort of deep, sombre, a little hoarse as well but that didn't seem to be normal. The words that voice spoke that made the old warlock begin to panic.

"Magic?" Yoongi speaks, laughing barely at the end of his sentence. He turned to leave, annoyed that a mundane had ruined his attempt to get home.

A hand grabs at his elbow and spins him around. Unwillingly Yoongi is face to face with the other man, the closeness making it possible to see the smaller details of his face. Yoongi's face scrunched and he pulled his arm free.

"What? Leave me be." Yoongi snaps. The other raises his hand.

"No! You did magic! You're a warlock!" The other says. Now that surprised Yoongi, who blinks blankly at him.

"How'd you..?" Stupid question, Yoongi got what he was, finally realising what that weird feeling was.

"You are, aren't you." The taller one smiles, something Yoongi notices makes his lips look like a wide heart and his round cheeks even rounder. "I've been looking for a warlock for a while, I need a place to stay and I was hoping that you'd be able to help me out." He shrugs. Yoongi pauses a moment and speaks, eyes not moving from the others as they stay locked in a stare.

"Why would I let you come to my house?" He says, the taller sighs.

"I don't know, actually. I was just sort of hoping you would." Finally the eye contact is broken as the brown haired om looks at the ground. Yoongi's head tilts a little bit to his left and he pulls his mask down finally.
"Where are you from?" Simple question, Yoongi supposed he wasn't from here if he needed a place to stay, he looked too old to have just been kicked out of home.

"Originally? Gwangju. I haven't been there for about ten years though." The stranger explains, looking back up.

"Kicked out?" Yoongi asks. There was no answer to that question, only awkward silence as he supposed the younger one thought of past events. "My name is Min Yoongi, I'm the High Warlock around here."

"The High Warlock, wow. I'm Hoseok, Na..." The younger one paused. "Jung Hoseok." The smile that followed his introduction wasn't as happy as the first one Yoongi had seen, but he quickly lost sight of it as the younger bowed a small bit, respectfully of course.

"You can't stay forever, but I suppose you can come with me, until I find you someplace more permanent." Yoongi say, trying his best not to sound like this was the most bothersome thing to happen, which he seemed to succeed in as Hoseok smiled truly once more. "Have you portalled before?"

"I have, once. It wasn't fun." Hoseok frowns and furrows his brows. Yoongi sighs and makes a gesture, opening the gold ish portal. His hands go deep into the pockets of his black jeans and he looks at the portal.

"Hand on my shoulder, think about following me." Yoongi says simply, not even looking to the other as he feels a hand place itself where he requested it be placed. Yoongi leading, they step through.

Portals are not fun. Your insides feel like they're twisting, something that makes Hoseok feel horrible physically, so he was glad when his feet landed on the polished wooden floor of the High Warlock's apartment.

After looking straight ahead blankly a moment, Hoseok blinks and looks around the room the pair now stood in, it appeared to be a lounge room. The room was filled with nice furniture, classy furniture. There were two black couches across from each other in the center of the room with a glass coffee table and monochrome geometric rug underneath. The walls of the room were a cool white, brown furnishings at the top that made the room feel a lot more historical. The lights were a soft creamy white, giving the room a warm glow.

Hoseok allowed his eyes to travel around the room a moment before they landed instinctively on the smaller warlock that had welcomed him into his home. The elder one didn't seem to notice the gaze, and Hoseok didn't notice that he was staring. This man was so kind, he was no monster as some people call their kind, he was a sweetheart, Hoseok could see that.

"What are you doing?" An annoyed voice sounded, shaking Hoseok out of his trance and into the real world once more. Yoongi-nim's eyes were now locked into his and Hoseok hurried to look away.

"Nothing, hyung-nim, just thinking." He says. Yoongi groans a little.

"No -nim, okay, I don't like that title." Yoongi wanders away after that simple sentence, leaving Hoseok alone in the lounge.
