She began trying to speak, but instead of words she only made slight noises. Kyle pressed the buzzer to alert the doctors that she was awake, and as they entered the room, they called in more doctors, and then there were at least 5 doctors in the small room, they started whispering to each other, then they rushed her out of the room. Kyle was eager to know where they were taking his sister, but they wouldn't tell him. Then Abby started screaming out in pain.
Instead, he just followed them into the maternity ward, but he had no clue what was going on, he wanted to know why his sister was in the maternity ward. As he walked into the room that held Abby, they started poking and prodding her and doing scans and tests on her stomach.
For a while the doctors were silent, but then another doctor entered the room, bringing the grand total to 6, but then they pulled out an ultrasound machine. They then applied the special cream to Abby's stomach, then placed the scanner onto the cream.
Then all of a sudden, the doctors turned to look at the screen next to them, Kyle tried to sneak in a look, but the doctors were blocking his view. Then silence fell again.
No one spoke a word. Not even Abby. Then Kyle gave into his urges and asked the nurses if his sister was okay. All they replied with was,
"don't worry, they are fine."
Kyle nodded his head, then inquired, "they?"
The doctors replied with, "Yes they, Abby and her baby" ...
