Yes the reveal that it was Lauren who was trapped wasn't an extravagant one, but it was effective.
Lauren was shouting for help for hours on end, she just wanted freedom and she knew her live was at risk at the hands of her so called friend. She was not only worried about her own safety, but for Abby's and Kyle's lives as well. She knew Evie and Alex wanted them dead.
Lauren had never met Alex before, and she was glad, but she had heard his voice through the narrow cracks in the door that trapped her in the dark and gloomy room that she was destined to die in.
Back at the flat, Abby was enjoying being back with her brother, but she still hadn't told him about the threatening note she got with the flowers she found at her door. She knew that Kyle would start becoming super obsessive about her safety, and she just didn't want to worry him.
Abby was arranging to meet Evie for dinner the following night, Abby's intentions were just to want to meet her friend after a few days, but Evie's intentions were so twisted I couldn't begin to explain, so I won't just yet.
