Chapter 22

Abby and Kyle had been told to go home to get some sleep as Noah would be in surgery for hours.But Abby knew she wouldn't be able to leave her baby and she also knew that she would never be able to sleep knowing that her beloved new-born baby could die in surgery.

Back at Evie's apartment, she and Alex were talking about how they had killed both Lauren and Abby, they didn't know that Abby had survived. Alex started shouting at Evie telling her that he never wanted Abby dead, and that he still loved her.

Evie was worried that Alex was becoming good, but he assured her that would never happen. Evie didn't believe him, and she was worried that he would turn good and report her to the police and hand himself in, and she couldn't risk that happening.

So as Alex was walking away, Evie followed him from a distance. Evie had followed Alex to the near by lake when she shouted his name, he turned around to see Evie stood there. She ran up to him and hugged him, and as she did Alex told her that he also loved her as well as Abby. But then Evie just pulled a pocket knife from her coat, and pretended to keep hugging him, then all of a sudden she inserted the knife into his chest, she twisted and pushed the knife into him.

He fell to the floor. Dead. She left the knife in his chest and ran, she ran back to her apartment, she ran from her troubles. Even though she felt guilty, she was glad Alex had finally had his comeuppance...
