Abby solemnly made her way back to the hospital after getting a text from Kyle, even though Abby just wanted to run through the double doors to get to her precious baby boy, she needed to wash the blood that came from Alex's deceased body from her dainty hands.

Abby had washed her hands and waked into the maternity ward to see Kyle stood there crying. He told Abby that Noah's surgery didn't go as planned, and that they were unable to save one of his lungs, and that lung failure was very dangerous for a new born baby, but he had lost his collapsed lung!

The nurses told Abby and Kyle that Noah wouldn't be able to grow up safely with only one lung, and Noah was so tiny he could barely even breath with two lungs, let alone one.

The next day Abby was told that she could take him home, so she did so without a second thought, she had missed having her baby home with her, so she took him up in her arms, and held him the gentle, loving way all mothers hold their baby's after birth.

Once she had gotten him home, she was fine a defibrillator to restart Noahs heart if needed, but she pushed it aside as she hoped she would've never had to use it.

Later that day, Abby put Noah down for his nap, for the first hour of his name, Abby just sat there watching him sleep. She found it mesmerising, but soon enough she set off and went to sleep herself.

The next morning, she went to wake Noah for his breakfast. But when she did, he didn't budge, she tried shaking him, but he just laid there, still as a rock, lifeless...
