They both helped Abby up and they just skipped introductions and went straight to the police station. The officers asked about everything, and they meant everything.
So Abby and Kyle told the officers about the whole story, from the first time meeting Alex and his first betrayal towards Kyle, and how it was all a downward spiral from there. Kyle and Abby automatically assumed the police would agree that Evie was behind it. But they didn't.
The polices first thoughts were shocking. They thought that it was Alex. At that very moment there were 4 officers in the room, but then 3 if them left. The officer who was left in the room was the one who said Alex. Officer Luke was his name. Officer Luke said that he urgently needed to take a call, and when he did, the first thing he said over the phone was, "oh Evie, it's working, the plan is set, they think Alex is alive."
After the call had finished, he went back into the room and acted all normal. He assured Abby and Kyle that the police would find Noah. Minutes later, Kyle, Abby and Gracie all left the station, they had no idea that they were dealing with a corrupt cop. And that corrupt cop was also working with Evie!
