"Be creative dear vampires. What greater prize is there but Fae flesh...in their territory?" Irina queried with a feline smirk.

"Fae land is miles from here" Anghel pointed out, flickering a glance at the rapidly paling Taylor

"Oh Dear cousin, When has distance ever stopped us from getting what we want" She rolled her eyes at him like he just said the most unnecessary thing.

"I second mistress Irina. We would be killing two birds with a stone, theoretically speaking. They did dare to infiltrate our castle " lord Darius spoke up drawing positive response from the gathering.

"How would we draw those cowardly filth out of there burrows. I don't fancy spending a long time in that frigid place and catching nothing" One of the court member spoke, it was Ian of the Scarlett Guard; the man that came with Emese to see Taylor the day she got attacked.

"Now we talk. With the permission of His majesty, we would use their bloody assasin as bait " Replied Irina.

They all looked at the king and he gave his consent with a nod of his head.
Two men disbanded and rushed off to get the so called bait.

Taylor watched all these with growing dread.
Animals.
She taught the point of hunting was to catch Animals!
Now they are going about planning to hunt humans....faes, but still human as far as she can tell.
Common sense told her nothing she said would change the minds of these heartless vampires she was trapped with. Going back would disgrace her, going forward would kill a part of her.

"Are you okay?" Marius whispered down at her from just behind her. She raised large eyes to stare at him
"Do you really have to hunt these people. Aren't there enough wild animals in Ardelean? "
Marius gave a sigh.
"You don't have to come along. Just say the word and I'll have you escorted back to your chambers"
Irina who was lurking near heard and she released a mocking sound
"Yes, run along princess, this is business for vampires and vampires alone" her smirk told Taylor that was exactly her plan form the begining, Isolate her. That's why she brought up the game knowing she would be shocked.
And Taylor wanted nothing g more but to wipe that triumphant smirk off her face.
She looked at Marius instead, totally ignoring the gloating woman.
"Is it a rule only vampires can hunt?" She asked as firmly as she could. Irina was hell bent on bullying her psychologically, if she didn't protect herself now, it would be like high school...all over again.

"Not the last I checked" Marius andwere, an amused grin splitting his lips. He could almost see the steam coming out of his sisters ears. It was a truly very rare sight

Taylor then shrugged and picked up her sword and studied it.

Irina's face grew even more red from the cold, flippant manner and she bared her fangs in annoyance, her eyes sharp enough to slice. She took a threatening step closer but Anghel was suddenly in her face.
He raised an eyebrow in a demanding way, she swallowed her growl and just stalked off without another word.
The vampires returned holding between them a pallored, stinking corpse of the assain. He had been left hanging to rot in the meadow without the proper pyre burial customary to Faes

Taylor gasped at the horrifying sight of seeing a dead person for the first time. It's sandy brown hair had lost colour and fell limply down one whitened unseeing eye. His mouth was slightly agape and his skin was already turning different shades of brown. He had a slight figure and looked nothing like the assailant she caught on the kings bed.
