Splatoon: Agent 8 x Agent 3

Salmon Run!

Next Friday, 3:30 p.m

Kai was in the bathroom fidgeting with the salmon run gear that Coral brought him from Mr.Grizz. He had just completed the Grizzco Basic Training a few days ago.
" Why do we have to wear these things? It makes me look stupid." Kai says as he stares at himself in the bathroom mirror.

There was a knock on the bathroom door then followed by Coral's voice.
" Everything okay in there Kai? I have something to show you once your done." She says.

"I'm fine Coral, I'll be out in a sec!" Kai says as he puts on the cap that was provided with the gear.
He then comes out of the bathroom and is greeted by Coral who has her hands behind her back.

" I've got a surprise for you!" Coral says with a big smile.
She then brings her hands from behind her back and reveals a small box that is a little bigger than the palm of his hand.

Kai gladly accepts her surprise and slides the top of the box off.
There in the small box was a squid phone, the latest edition too.

"W-wow for me? Are you for real?" Kai says asking with disbelief.
" Yeah, Of course it's for you. Since your still new to Inkopolis, I just thought this might help you connect more and we can chat with it too!" Coral explains.

" Thank you so much Coral!" Kai says and he gives her a big hug.
" It's no problem—really." She says trying to breath.

" Oops, sorry about that." Kai says blushing.
" Don't sweat it, l-let's go kick some Salmonid ass now!!" Coral says with a small blush as well.

-On their way to Grizzco Industries-

Coral kept staring at Kai the whole walk to Grizzco Industries and would glance away when Kai looked back at her.
"He looks sooo cute in the Grizzco outfit! I wonder if he thinks I look cute." Coral wonders and then she realizes what she just said in her mind.
" WHAT THE FUCK CORAL?! WHAT IS WITH YOU TODAY??"

" I-Is there something on my face?" Kai asks with confusion.

"W-what?" Coral says and is snapped out of her thoughts.

" Oh, umm I asked if there is anything on my face because you keep looking at me." He says

"Oh sorry, no I guess I was just spacing out or something." Coral says nervously trying not to explain that she was thinking of him.

They cross the street and spot Bruno and Alex who are arguing over non sense.

" W-what?! Of course the chicken came first you nut head!! Alex says as he nags Bruno.

" Pfft, no babe you got it all wrong!! The egg came first because everything starts as a fetus!!!" Bruno says trying to win their 'argument'.

Coral and Kai approach them and Coral clears her throat.
" I swear, sometimes you two don't even act like a couple."'

Bruno glares at Coral and immediately defends himself.
" SHUT YO MOUTH GIRL, YOU'VE NEVER EVEN BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP!!!"

" I'LL FRY YOU ALONG WITH A SALMONID YOU LIL SHRIMP!!" Coral says as she begins to tackle Bruno onto the concrete.

" STOP IT YOU TWO!" Alex yells as he tries to pull Coral off of Bruno. Kai just vulnerably watches as Alex struggles to get Coral off of Bruno but he then helps by lifting Coral off of Bruno.
