chapter five

Sprawled out across my double bed. The duvet messy over my legs, hair covering my face . the sunlight peaking through the curtains.

Moving my hand around ...empty. I looked up around the room...no jack. He must have left late last night

A note on my pillow

I waited till you were asleep then I left just before your parents came home. Sorry. ~jack x

I sighed at the note scrunching it up into a ball and brushing back my hair sitting up. However I knew why he did what he did.

I tied my hair in a high ponytail, pulling on black gym shorts and a grey short t shirt with trainers ready for a run. Secretly I looked out my window to see dad with jack and the other men working in the garden on the patio. So me being me I wandered out turning on the sprinklers and fountain.

"Morning" dad greeted

"Hi. I'm going for a run" I admitted

"Before you go can you get us all coffee...' Dad asked

"Ugh fine" I complained

"Not me' Jack refused "don't want the young lady running about after me"

Flashing me a smile . I smirked back.

"Suit yourself" dad said "run along Bella"

I rolled my eyes and made ten coffee's.. Placing them on the table.

"Anything else??' I asked tucking the tray underneath my arm..

"How about you!?" A male smirked "you look delicious..."

"That's enough" dad growled.

I lent down towards the male, a hand on the table next to him. I smirked but it soon dropped.

"Suck my dick!!" I spat

Getting up. Jack kept his laugh in. I begging jogging when I went out.

Jogging confidently with my headphones it. Occasionally pulling up my sports bra straps.

But slowly a strong acidic smell filled my nose causing me to stop and cough. I looked up.

Ace chemicals

How far had I jogged. It was pretty quiet. I always thought this place shut down , it was once used to make bullets and wash out clothing but now I guess it was abandoned with clearly still acid inside.

There had been multiple accidents here involving death..

It started giving me the creeps so I continued jogging..

Passing the nightclubs. Open 24/7 which kinda defeated the purpose of 'nightclub' . then the stores , over the bridge and through a few more streets. Then it slowly got cold making me shiver then the rain begun to fall then pour making me jog faster.

It soaked my hair and through my clothes. Entering home. The men had just finished. Jacks eyes wandered to my shirt.

"Nice shirt..." He grinned

I looked down...completely soaked and see through. Black bra on show.

"Haha very funny ...' I said

He cleared his throat and spoke more quietly "sorry about leaving you last night"

"No I understand. Its fine. " I begun "are you okay...you know...'

"Yeah I think so. I mean I Havent been home...but I'm alright.." Jack said

"You sure?' I asked

Jack nodded "I see you like to cuddle. You made that clear last night..."

"Oh...I'm sorry..."

"Don't worry" jack spoke "it was cute..."

I blushed and put my head down.

"As it that" he grinned putting his fingers under my chin and making me look at him "I'll see you later" .
