Chapter 5

10th December,2018.

Who says wedding preparations are easy,especially when you're at the bride's side and especially when you're the only sister of the bride.

This is exactly 1 week to the wedding and husna was already exhausted. The only thing Asmau would do is to eat,sleep,watch movies and cuddle with her pillow.
Husna was the one doing all the things.

Thankfully,mahbub said they don't have any furniture shopping to do,everything Is intact in the house,the only thing that is missing are some of the kitchen utensils, so husna found it easy to do that with the help of haula.

They finished distributing the cards.
There's going to be just 3 events, the wedding Fatiha,dinner and walima.
Husna ordered for Asmau's dinner gown since in the last 2weeks and they delivered it after 1week.

18th December,2018.

Finally,husna had time to rest because it was time for gyaran jiki.
One Sudanese woman came all the way from Sudan. She came and decided to torture Asmau. She waxed her skin mercilessly until she was sure that no hair would dare to come out till after a year or so.
She applied curcum and dilka on her body and robbed it off.

She sat on a chair that has hole in it and she wrapped her with a blanket and smoked her.she was naked so that the smoke would enter her body easily.

The woman came back the next day and repeated the torture for 5 more days.
On the last day, which was a day to the first event which is walima and dinner,Asmau and husna went to the saloon.
They had manicure and pedicure but Asmau's own was bridal package.
And then it was time for hair,the woman kept doing her magic on Asmau's hair and at the end of the day, it looked really nice.

They went back home and immediately regretted it. The house was already filled up with guest, women and children and the house was all scattered.
Asmau groaned and quickly ran to her room while husna received the yodeling, prayers and teases, they thought she's the bride, well who wouldn't think of that when even  their mother can not differentiate them.

She kept faking a smile and finally escaped and ran to their room.
The moment she entered the room, she gasped and let out a loud scream.
Ikrammmmmmm.....she shouted and jumped on her.

(Ikram is 20 years old,she's Asmau and husna's cousin, her mother "Anty batool" is Hajiya hindu's younger sister,they live in Kano state)

Ayshaaaaa......she shouted again and jumped on Aisha.
