The Return

Mary's point of view
"Mary don't be nervous." Kenna said "Kenna I'm not nervous." I laughed "You seem like your nervous." She said "I left for a year to travel with my parents, I still have friends here." I laughed "I know you do but things have changed." She said "What are you talking about?" I asked turning the corner into school. "Well first off there is this really hot new guy that came after you left. Don't tell Bash I think he's hot he will get all mad. (btw Mary and Bash are siblings in this fan fiction)" she said "I'm still pissed my parents let Bash stay home for a year but I had to go travel the world, it was actually really great but still." I said parking. "You look cute." She said as I got out, I was wearing a dark but at the same time kind of light purple t-shirt dress with my cross necklace and converse, my hair was curled. "It took me like two seconds to get ready." I laughed "Of course it did, I woke up a 5:00 to look this good." She said "Oh my god." I laughed "Mary!" Greer smiled "Greer!" I smiled then jumped on her and hugged her. "Oh my god why do you weigh so little?" She laughed holding me. "Because I haven't ate anything but fruit for the past year because food in other countries is gross." I laughed "I should do that." She laughed setting me down. "Oh shut up your so skinny." I smiled "I missed you." She smiled "I missed you too." I smiled then hugged her. "I got to get to class." She said "Me too." I smiled then walked into school. I saw  Condé, I hate Condé, and some guy I didn't recognize. "Mary come here." Condé said "No." I held up my middle finger, I saw Bash and all this football friends were laughing. I saw one of them staring at me. I went over to Bash and his friends. "Hey Mary." He messes with my hair. "Don't touch me." I slapped his head. "Hi Leith." I smiled then hugged him. "Nothing has changed since you left." He smiled "So my brother is still an ass?" I laughed "Yep." He laughed "Okay you two can stop now." Bash laughed "I need to get to class." I said "Wait Mary are you coming to the barn party tonight?" Bash asked "I wouldn't miss it." I smiled then walked to my first period. The only seat open was next to another guy I didn't know. I sat down and got on my phone. I got a text from Kenna, she was sitting three seats behind me.

kenna, it's the first day of school. im not looking for a boyfriend.

I shut my phone off and put it in my bag, Kenna threw a pencil at me which hit the back of my head. I looked back at her and mouthed 'what the hell!' she mouthed back. 'talk to him!' I rolled my eyes then the teacher came in. "Hello class, I'm Mr.Elliot. I will be your English teacher this year. To start off this year we will be doing a project on acting, we will be pairing up boy and girl, no you don't get to pick your partner so don't start looking at each other. You will each get a book and read it through your the first marking period then pick your favorite scene and act it out." He said. Oh my God. He started pairing everyone up and of course he paired me up with the new guy next to me. I looked at him again and he was wearing a varsity football jacket so he must know my brother. "Hi I'm Mary." I said "I'm Francis." He smiled "Do you play football?" I asked "yeah, quarter back." He said "Do you know my brother? Bash." I asked "Oh yeah, we're pretty good friends. He really helped me get to know everyone last year." He said "So your new?" I asked "My family moved when I was three to France for my dads work but we moved back last year." He said "Oh thats cool, I traveled through europe with my parents this past years." I said "Did you ever visit Africa? It's gorgeous there." He said "I always wanted to go but my dad said 'it wasn't safe' so we never got to go." I laughed "Well that's a shame." He smiled "This project seems really stupid." I laughed "Your telling me." He laughed "Are you going to the barn party tonight?" I asked "Yes, my friends are kind of making me." He smiled "You don't like to watch 16 year olds get super drunk and pass out?" I laughed "I'm actually one of those people that doesn't like that." He laughed. We spent the rest of the period talking until the bell rang. "What's your next class?" He asked "History." I said "No way, me too." He smiled "Well I'm so lucky." I smiled "Well like the true gentlemen I am I will escort you to class." He smiled "I guess you can walk me." I smiled then grabbed my back pack, we walked down the hall and up the stairs, people were staring at us and whispering. "Your quite the talk of the town." I giggled "What do you mean?" He asked "You don't see everyone whispering?" I asked "I do, the thing is I don't care." He smiled "And neither should you." He added. "That's because your a guy, I always get upset when I see people talking about me." I said "Well who would talk about you? Your perfect." He smiled, oh my god! He called me perfect. "I'm not perfect." I giggled "Yes you are." He smiled as we walked into the classroom, we ended up literally having ever class together. We ate lunch with Kenna and Greer and Bash and all his friends. Now everyone was in the parking lot talking. "Hey." Francis came up to me, Kenna and Greer smiled then walked away. "Hey." I smiled "What's your number?" He smiled "What makes you think I'll give it up that easy?" I smiled "Oh come on." He smiled "Let me see your phone." I smiled, he handed me his phone and I typed in my number with the name 'mary💓' "Here you go." I smiled then handed him his phone. "Can I give you a ride to the party tonight?" He smiled "I have a car." I giggled "I know, I have one to so maybe you should come check it out." He smiled "I guess you take me to the party." I smiled "It's a date." He smiled "Mhm." I smiled "I will pick you up at eight?" He said as a statement/question. "Sounds good." I smiled then walked to my Jeep. "Are you two dating now?" Greer smiled getting in my back seat. "No were not dating, but he asked me on a date." I said "Oh my god!" Kenna smiled getting in the front seat. "He's taking me to the barn party." I smiled "Is He picking you up?" Greer asked laughing "Um yes, why?" I asked "Mary he's your neighbor." Kenna smiled "Really?" I asked "Do you want to know something even better?" Kenna laughed "What?" I laughed "Your windows face each other, and his house is like huge. His family has lots of money." Greer said "They face each other? That's so weird but so cute at the same time." I laughed then drove into my neighbor hood and dropped Kenna and Greer at their houses then drove back to my house. Francis was pulling in at the same time, he has a black truck. Oh my god. That's really hot I don't know why. "You didn't tell were neighbors." I smiled then got out of my Jeep. "You didn't ask." He smiled walking towards me. "I expect to see you at eight." I smiled then walked towards my house. "I'll be there." He shouted. I got into my house and no one was home. I went up to my room and Francis was in his room sitting in front of the window on his phone. I smiled at him then closed my blinds. I changed into my bathing suit and walked down to my backyard then out to the beach. I would go out on our boat or sea-doos but then I will look all weird because I'm alone. I went up to my pool and laid on one of the pool floats to tan. After like half an hour I got out of bed and walked inside to get ready for the party.
