The Release

Francis's point of view
I woke in so much pain. My head and stomach were killing me. Where am I? Oh my god! I'm in the hospital. Suddenly it all came back to me. The hotel room, the fight, the break up, the crash. Mary talking to me while I was asleep. Mary. I need Mary. I felt my hand touching something soft. I looked down and it was Mary. Her beautiful brown hair was all curly and messy. That's what it looks like after we make love. She was in a sweatshirt and yoga pants. "Mary." I stroked her hair. I un-attentionaly woke her up. "Francis, your awake." She smiled "Yes I am." I smiled. "I'm going to go get the nurse." She said "Just stay here a little longer." I held her hands. "Okay." She smiled "Come lay with me." I moved over a little on the tiny twin sized hospital bed for her to lay with me. She smiled laid next to me and laid her head next to mine. "I get to sign your cast first." She giggled "Okay baby, just let me look at you for a little while longer." I smiled "Okay." She smiled  "I love you." I said "Francis do you remember breaking up with me?" She asked "Yes, I didn't mean that. I was just mad. I didn't mean any of it." I said "Francis I am so sorry." She said "It's okay Mary, I heard you." I said "What do you mean?" She asked "After I got out of surgery and I was asleep and I heard what you said." I said "And you forgive me?" She asked "Yes, I forgive you. Now it my turn to apologize." I said "No Francis don't apologize." She said "Okay you can say that all you want but I'm still going to." I smiled "Okay." She giggled "I'm sorry for everything I said, I love you with everything in me." I smiled "I love you too." She smiled, I leaned in and kissed her. "Eww you taste like blood." She giggled "My bad, I kind of got in a car crash." I smiled "I'm going to get the nurse now, Okay?" She said "Okay." I smiled, she got out of bed and went out to the nurse's desk. The nurse followed her back into our room. "How are you feeling?" She asked "Fine." I said "Abdominal pain?" She asked "No, just pain from the surgery." I said "Okay Mr.Valois if your parents are here you can go in the next hour or so." She said "Seriously? He had surgery last night." Mary said "Yes, were getting over crowded. You seem stable but we will run a few more tests before we release you." She said "Okay thanks." I said, she walked out. "Oh my god she was kind of rude." Mary closed the door. "Well I just want to go get in my bed with you." I smiled "I am not having sex with you until your wounds heal, I don't want them to open back up." She said "I will be fine, really." I smiled "And no getting in the pool, hot tub, or lake. I don't want you to get an infection." She said "Okay mom." I laughed "And you won't let me drive your truck but you crashed it." She giggled "I didn't want to hit a baby deer!" I said "Mhm sure." She giggled
A couple hours later
We're packing up me and Mary's stuff to go home now. I can't believe she stayed with me for three days. I love her so much. I'm so happy we're back together. We were both being petty. My mother tried to fight I needed to stay longer but the nurses and doctors showed her my charts that said I'm healing well. I changed into my clothes my mom brought for me and the nurse took out my iv. "Ready?" Mary smiled "Ready." I smiled then held her hand, we walked out to her car. It was still pouring out. "All right so I'm going to take you home and because I'm so nice I will let you pick the movie. Or movies if you stay awake that long." She smiled "I'm purposely going to pick something you hate." I smiled "Of course you will." She giggled, she drove back to my house and helped me up to my bed. "Can you change me into my pajamas?" I smiled "Get over yourself." She laughed then went down stairs. I changed into sweat pants and a shirt and turned the tv on. She came back up stairs with popcorn and cinnamon rolls. "Oh my goodness." I smiled "Don't get used to me cooking for you so much." She giggled "Come here baby." I patted my bed, she smiled then cuddled next to me. She set down the food on my bed. My mother came in. "How are you two doing?" She smiled "Francis is purposely putting movies on that he knows I don't like." Mary giggled "Francis, she made you food and laid at your bedside for three days. Let her watch what she wants!" She said "I'm great mom thanks." I laughed "Good sweetheart." She smiled, she closed the door and walked out, not even a second later she came back in. "Over the sheets only." She said Mary started giggling "Okay Ma, you can go now." I said "I got you in trouble." She said singing along. "Okay okay, you can calm down now." I laughed "Please pick something we both like." She smiled "Okay fine." I smiled then kissed her forehead
