The Bottle

Seven Years Later
Francis's point of view
I woke up to an empty bed. I got in the shower. I washed my hair and body then got out. I shaved then brushed my teeth. I blow dried and styled my hair. I went and put a suit on. I made the bed then went back to the bathroom and put cologne on. I went down the hall and to the master stair case. My home is just beautiful. I love it here. I made eggs, toast, and a fruit parfait. I ate half the eggs and a piece of toast, then I put the fruit parfait on a tray with orange juice and the eggs and toast on a plate. I then got a bottle out of the fridge. I went back upstairs and went the nursery. Mary was in there sleeping next to the crib. Beau must have been crying. He is six months old and Mary and I couldn't be happier, he is our first child. We got married four years ago after she finished medical school. Our Fathers were welcome at the wedding my neither of our Mothers were. I picked up Beau. "Good Morning big boy." I smiled. I got socks, jeans, and a matching shirt that said 'Mommy's boy'. I brought him over to his changing table. I changed his diaper then threw it in the trash. I then got him dressed. I picked him up and started feeding him. "Francis?" Mary asked barley awake. "Good morning sunshine." I smiled. She has been at home with Beau on materiality leave. It's a lot for her. "Did you make me breakfast?" She smiled "Yes I did." I returned the smile. She stood up. "Well i'm just the luckiest girl in the world, I have two boys in my life." She smiled then gave me a kiss. "I wish I could stay but I have the be to court soon." I said "Here give him to me." She said, I handed Beau to her. They followed me down stairs. I'm so happy with the life Mary and I have built together. We bought a beautiful home, cars, a boat. We live on the ocean. My life is just beyond perfect. I gave Mary and kiss and walked out the door. She and Beau stood in the door way. "I'm running the store today so text me what you want." She smiled "Okay." I gave her another kiss. "Stop you really have to go now." She smiled. I got in my car and rolled down the windows. "I love you Mary Valois." I said "I love you Francis Valois." She smiled.
