PROLOGUE

Indi Dunbar won't be the first to tell you she's had a rough life- and she's certainly not looking for sympathy.

Indi and Scott have been apart for six long months. Six months of awkward encounters, tentative smiles, uneasy eye contact. They weren't on good terms..

Especially since Scott is now officially with Kira.
