So I wanted the style of this fic to be a little different than your usual angst / romance story, because I wanted to try and make it exciting & give you that escapism / free feeling the whole story is about.

any trigger warnings / other warnings I will put at the beginning of the chapter, but it's unlikely there will be any.
there will be quite a few sad parts, but I'm not a cynic, the ultimate goal of the story is to make you feel good (with some ups & downs along the way).

I want you to become emotionally invested, but please don't take this too seriously! this is just a bit of escapism from your daily life & hopefully something you can really get into and come to love.
It's set in 1996, England (if you're interested)

I may put songs at the beginning of some chapters (some might even be written in the chapter itself) for you to listen to. they will fit in with the theme / mood of the chapter & they'll just be songs I really love, but of course you don't have to listen to them!
