Every year, without fail, I end up stopping my writing once summer time arrives. It's been this way for as long as I can remember back to when I stopped writing.

I'm sure I'm not the only one struggling with finding time in their busy schedules to write. Especially one the warm summer weather starts.

Below, I have listed 5 tips on how to write when you have a hectic schedule.

1) Schedule at least five minutes a day just for writing.

2) Instead of watching TV, pick up that notebook or computer and write or type whatever comes to your mine. Doesn't matter if it doesn't tie into your story. Just write.

3) Plan a vacation. Going away for a few days will give you a change of scenery and help you get inspired to continue your story. Or to start something new.

4) Finish writing an old draft. One you haven't written anything for in quite a while. Once you do this, you'll feel accomplished and just want to keep writing.

5) Never give up! I admit it, I've had several times where I got tired of writing and just wanted to quit it. Stopping writing makes things harder. It doesn't help you reach your dreams.

So, my fellow Wattpaders, remember, no matter what, continue writing
