(Oh, right... We're not in Philip Castle.)

The day after we began life on the farm. I woke to bright light and I looked around at my surroundings.

(Huh? Wilfred's not here?)

I thought absently to myself then I sat sharply up in the bed. Prince Wilfred had been sleeping at my side last night. But now he was nowhere in the room to be found.

(But he said he'd tell me in the morning...)

(Don't tell me he wanted to avoid talking so much that he left?)

A giggle escaped me at the thought.

(Hah, that would be the day. After all, he promised me about last night.)

I could still feel the heat from our night together.

(But what good would it do to doubt him after marrying him?)

I thought to myself as I threw my clothes on and raced out of the house.

After a bit of a walk out from the house... I quickly spotted the person I sought from behind.

(Ah...)

He was looking at something in front of a shed.

Regina: "Wilfred...?"

I called out.

Wilfred: "Oh, hey... you're up early."

He turned around and he smiled gently to me. The sight of that assured me that I wasn't wrong to trust in him.

Regina: "I should say the same to you."

Regina: "I was worried when I woke up and I saw you were gone."

Wilfred: "Oh... sorry. Here, have a look."

He picked up an apple and he looked back at me.

Wilfred: "Don't you think?"

He had a blithe smile that he only ever shared with me. I felt my lips curling into a smile of their own.

Regina: "Yeah, it sure does."

I nodded my head and I gazed at the bright red apple in his hand.

Wilfred: "Maybe I'll buy one."

(Er...)

Regina: "I think you're supposed to buy them in bunches."

I looked at the price list. It was 1 culs per bunch.
