(He's not here either, huh...)

I checked inside Prince Wilfred's office and I sighed softly. It was after the emergency cabinet meeting about the tax hikes. With the internal investigation still ongoing. But I hadn't seen Prince Wilfred since the night cause he'd told me about it. He had sent me occasional texts. But I still felt lonely not seeing him in person.

(I wish I could at least see him a little...)

I had thought to myself when I approached his office after finishing my own duties, but there was no sign of him inside.

(According to what Claude said about this morning and he should still be in the castle, but...)

As I trudged down the hall when I heard someone address me from behind.

???: "Lady Regina...?"

I turned around and I saw Claude standing there.

Claude: "Is something the matter? If so, I would be glad to..."

Regina: "Oh, not at all... but, where's Wilfred right now?"

Claude gave a strained smile.

Claude: "Prince Wilfred is currently in talks with the King."

Regina: "Oh, I see..."

(I guess there's no seeing him for a while, then...)

Claude must have noticed the slump in my shoulders. Because he spoke up observantly.

Claude: "You know... I learned a new trick recently."

Regina: "Huh?"

I blinked at the sudden changed in topic.

Claude: "I could show it to you in your room, if you like."

Claude said shyly and I smiled fondly.

Regina: "Why yes, I'd love it if you could."

Claude: "Thank you for kindly."

As we smiled to each other then, we never noticed the person watching us from afar.

Meanwhile. The King of the Philip Kingdom and Prince Wilfred were holding audience together.

Wilfred: "Documents are also supposed to be digitally converted where appropriate."

Wilfred: "And that never happened either."

Wilfred: "That makes me think the documents were hdden before they could be digitally converted."

King: "That makes it highly likely that someone within this castle has something to do with this."

King: "And it's possible that the originals have been destoryed."

Wilfred: "Yes... I suppose."

Prince Wilfred's words were unusually noncommittal for him and the King continued with a serious expression.

King: "If this matter were to be made public, it would damage the royal family's authority in the public eye."

King: "We must get to the bottom of this at all costs..."

Wilfred: "Yes, sir."

Wilfred: "Even if this did happen behind our backs, it was still under our watch."
