An: I have a new story out! Maybe More than a machine. It's rk900/Gavin. Feel free to Check it out.

And I'm back bitches!! (Except for the fact that I still have like another week with my family but here's an update. And ooohhh god is flying Saturday and so nervous. I hate planes.)

Then:

"I suppose some change of scenery would be nice, huh?" I said, standing up from the small empty crate from cyberlife.

Simon gave me a confused look.

"Come on." I chuckled, gesturing to the left with a tilt of my head.

Simon exhaled, and stood up from the steps.

"Where are we going?" He mumbled, seemingly still disappointed.

"Home. I can't resist those puppy eyes anymore, and watching our people wither away is... morbid. And terrifying. Getting some fresh air, and a change of scenery seems like it'd do us some good. Carl would be happy to see us, after all we haven't been back in a few days." I explained, grabbing my coat and putting it on.

Simon looked excited.

I chuckled, as we locked arms.

As we walked to the exit, we were stopped by a familiar android in a DPD sweater and blue short shorts.

It was Connor.

Now:

Simon's POV

"Markus...!" Connor whimpered, legs threatening to give or under him.

Markus glanced over at me, then locked his eyes onto the weak android.

Connor looked up at Markus, tears welling up in his eyes.

"Help." He squeaked, collapsing into Markus' arms.

Markus looked back at me, wide eyes and speechless.

I sighed.

"Let's get him to a bed." I mumbled, turning around and beginning to walk away.

"Wait- Simon! Hang on! Let me at least get a good grip on him before you walk ahead of me." Markus called, slight humor in his voice.

I stopped in my tracks and turned back around.

"Sorry... I thought you were right behind me." I lied... in reality I just wanted this to be over so I could go home. I didn't want to watch anyone else shut down. I didn't wanna shut down myself, but... you can't run from death.

My diagnostic program picked up on the virus several days ago. It's supposed to go undetected, but somehow I found it. Since then I've only been getting bloody noses. No memory gaps, or any other symptoms.
There is hope, but I don't believe I'll survive.

Nobody survives.

"Simon... you okay?" Markus asked, carrying a barely conscious Connor like a princess. "You completely zoned out." He added.
