I've been doing so well in my 11 years of schooling. Acing tests, having teachers like me, topping every class, and most importantly....NOT having any crushes.
Those "crushes" that vulnerable girls catch twice a day and forget about the next hour are the biggest distractions in school.
I lost a dear friend to one of those "crushes".
I sound like such a hypocrite for saying this, but...now it's me who's losing.
Losing so bad.

I rested my chin on my hand as I watched the boy read one of my favorite books.
The way his eyes gracefully turned left to right as he read each page was so mesmerizing to me.
