jisoo.

earlier that day.

i'm currently sitting alone in the cafeteria, waiting for kenzo to show up any second now. though i know it's not my business or rights, i couldn't stop glancing at the trio's direction.

they're doing their usual stuff; talking, laughing, and teasing. and though all three of them are ridiculously breath-taking in every way possible, my gaze couldn't help but linger on jennie a little bit longer.

but my awkward, continues, side glancing at them broke when kenzo plopped himself in front of me. he was catching his breath, i asked him why he looked like he was being chased, he merely shot me a small smile.

"i had to do something real quick. anyways, how are you?"

"i'm good," i replied with a smile. i grabbed a napkin and gently wiped away the sweat that formed on his forehead.

tall, dark, handsome, kenzo is perfection. but not for me though.

"thank you," he said and softly pinched my cheek, smiling. "so sweet, jichu."

"you're welcome," i mimicked his smile. "i'm hungry, should we get our lunches?"

"oh, about that," he paused, grabbed his bag and brought out two tupperwares. "i was getting tired of the shitty cafeteria food and i'm positive you are too. so, i decided to make lunch for the both of us starting from now on."

he gave me one of the plastic containers with chicken sandwich, apple slices and strawberries inside of it. a grin formed on my lips.

"thank you so much," i cooed. "you actually remembered that chicken is my favourite food ever," i said with a soft chuckle.

"well, how could i forget? that's what you always order whenever we eat out."

"true," another soft giggle escaped my lips. "shall we eat? i'm super hungry, and seeing chicken in front of me only makes me hungrier."

"sure, dig right in."

"thank you!" i said with enthusiasm. but before eating the lunch he prepared for us, i leaned in to give his cheek a quick kiss.

i heard him chuckle, but i made no effort to turn my head. without further a due, i started to dig right in just what he said.

first bite in the sandwich, i couldn't help but slightly moan at how good it was.

yes, i had always been an eater.

"mhmmm, the chicken is really well marinated," i stated and i earned another chuckle from him.

"thank you. as you can tell, i really enjoy cooking."

i nodded at his statement and continued eating. i couldn't stop chewing -- it was really, really good.

the moment we finished the sandwiches he made, he spoke almost immediately.

"hey, are you free after class?" kenzo asked just as i was about to take a bite of a sliced apple.

i looked at him and nodded my head. "why?"

"i was thinking maybe you'd want to go somewhere?" he replied. "i kind of have something to tell you."

i cocked my head to side and gave him a questioning look. "why don't you just tell me right now?"

"i could, but i also want to take you somewhere."

my curiosity increases. i could go on with the topic, but i didn't. knowing kenzo, he'd probably spill whatever it it is he wanted to say if i try to convince him any further.
