"Yet another astonishing convergence of magic and science," Ratchet said as he finished up calibrating the space bridge. "Courtesy of the Ancients."

"And our leader," Smokescreen added. I smirked. He really was taking his job as president of the Optimus Prime fan club seriously.

"It's hard to believe a few swings of that hammer and bam!" Bulkhead said, and the Autobots turned to peer at the new space bridge.

"Our ground bridge," Arcee finished. "Is now a space bridge."

I leaned over the railing above the ground/space bridge computer Ratchet was working on. "How's the calibration coming?"

"Almost finished," He muttered, still working away. "Considering you will act as an energy source for the bridge, it should be done much quicker because I don't need to also create a fuel supply."

"Happy to help," I chirped, then sucked in a breath as a burst of energy shot through me, making my powers stir even more. I had to really focus and calm myself to keep them from bursting at this point. A loud series of beeps came from the main base computers, sending everyone towards them.

"Our sensors are detecting a massive energon burst occuring outside Earth's atmosphere," Ratchet reported as I put my hand on the railing to steady myself. So that's why I'm getting all that feedback. "A surge of that kind can only mean one thing; the activation of another space bridge."

"Megatron has discovered that the Omega Lock is on Cybertron," Optimus said, joining the group.

"Then we lost our advantage," I commented.

"Maybe so," The Prime turned towards me. "But with Megatron unaware that we now possess the means of interstellar travel, the element of surprise remains in our favor. We must embark on this mission with every resource at our disposal."

The Autobots nodded, realizing what his words meant. I did too as they all headed towards the back hall. The relics of Iacon were powerful weapons that could dramatically shift the tides of any battle. This being the most important battle yet, all the relics we had had to be used if we wanted to stand a chance against the Decepticons to win the war. Once they returned, Optimus also headed to the back hall, but for a different purpose. It wasn't before long when the pounding of metal filled the base.

"What's he forging now?" Bulkhead asked, but I knew. I couldn't say a word, though. The sudden rise in energy within me kept on rising, especially with the close proximity of the Iacon relics. My hands were covering with silver without me even giving it a thought. I looked towards Ratchet urgently.

"I need to power up the bridge," I managed to say, holding everything within me back. Thankfully, the medic saw my urgency and scooped me off the platform, setting me down in front of an open tank at the underside of the space bridge.

"Right in there," He instructed and I nodded, aiming my hands at the tank's opening and letting the stream of silver dust pour out of me. The space bridge roared to life, and Ratchet hurried to punch in the right coordinates. The silver dust kept on pouring and pouring out of me, relieving me of the pressure that had built up. Because of how I was channeling everything in at once, my power levels returned to normal and I cut them off as the Autobots approached the open bridge.

"We have enough energy for the trip there and back," Ratchet informed us, giving me a look that made me smile with pride. "And extra. Good work, Amanda."

I grinned as Optimus walked back into the main area of the base, brandishing an exact replica of the Star Saber. The Autobots gaped, their jaws dropping, but I saw it coming. I walked forward, inclining for the Prime to lower his sword. Once it was close enough, my hand reached out to touch it and I sent a burst of silver dust through it.
