Izuku greets happily, the smile on his face seems brighter and more energetic, Katsuki squints, he grunts before sitting on his seat yet even if he wasn't looking, he can practically feel Izuku's cheerful happy gaze, focused solely on him, the half and half bastard was watching them curiously, the eggplant incarnate looked curious but was too much of a pussy to say anything

"Hey did something happen between you two? Bakugou looks twitchier than usual and your smile is brighter, today a special day or something?" Katsuki does indeed twitch and Midoriya's smile somehow got brighter

"Yep! It's a very special day!"

"Ooooh what is it?"

"It's a secret!" He chirps

"It's not your fucking business you echidna"

"What's an echidna?"

"Piss off"

Shinso stared at the sight infront of him

Was it just him or was Katsuki... a bit more soft?

Letting Izuku feed him, pulling the greenette closer to him, affectionately (?) shoving food down his throat back, they were even sharing each other's lunches, the dessert pudding given to them by lunchrush was split in half and exchanged which didn't make any fucking sense since you know, it's the same thing but Izuku looked very very pleased for it to happen

"Oh and Kacchan! I bought this for you on the way to school! It reminded me of you!" Izuku says happily, giving Bakugou something in a plastic

'Nikuman : Spicy Edition'

"The fuck is this? Never seen this shit before, is this fucking poison?" Izuku shakes his head frantically

"I would never give something like that to Kacchan! Come on just eat it I spent 500 yen on it!"

"For a single bun? Seriously?"

"Oh two buns actually! I wanted to eat it with you!" Izuku said, taking his own bun out, Katsuki grumbled, they both tore the plastic off their bun, they poured a sweet sauce over it and p took a bite

"Not that spicy but good enough" Katsuki said, munching on it, Izuku nods in agreement

"The sauce is really good!"

"It's good enough"

Shinso watched with disgust as they proceeded to exchange buns when Izuku insisted that he wanted to taste Katsuki's even though they both tasted the same

Shoto did not like the sight infront of him

Actually he did, just a little, maybe a lot, only because Izuku was walking infront of him and he was shamelessly gazing down on it, on the other hand, just a bit behind the glorious scene was Katsuki holding Izuku's hand, which was disgusting, he has held Katsuki's hand before, they are very sweaty, gross and he can explode you too, but here was Izuku, looking like an absolute ray of sunshine, happy that he's holding the hand of the guy with the sweatiest hand in class

"Kacchan, you're gonna stay over today right? Your backpack was extra bulky" stay over? In Izuku's dorm room?

Excuse me?

Katsuki grunts

"It's been such a long time, is it because it's the tenth year, Kacchan? You're so thoughtful! Don't worry, my bed is big enough for both of us! Or do you wanna sleep on a futon instead?"

Katsuki grunted again, Shoto tilts his head as he walked, how can Izuku decipher Katsuki just from a grunt? Is this the power of being a childhood sweetheart to someone? Could Izuku grunt and have Katsuki understand too? Maybe his is a smile instead of a grunt?

"The bed then? Okay Kacchan, I'll tell Mirio-senpai first though, it's my first time having a sleep over at the dorm and he might get the wrong idea...." Katsuki nods

Shoto wonders how Izuku can continue a one sided conversation just like that, if he didn't know any better it would seem like Izuku was just talking to himself

Ejirou usually didn't eavesdrop or sneak a peek when people are having private discussions but this one egged on him too much, also he's sure like half of the class is also watching, Hagakure definitely was, she was all naked and capturing them a nice video, it was short of 5 minutes after the ball ran when Izuku stood up and made his way to Katsuki's desk

"You remembered, right?" Izuku asks

"Of course I did" Katsuki grunted, he took out something in his bag, a small gift box, decorated prettily with ribbons and pretty colors and one plain brown one, Izuku took out his own, it's the same but his decorations were plainer

"Aww you outdid me Kacchan"

"Of course I'm the fucking best, open up the small box"

"What? But it's so pretty..." Katsuki growled, Izuku quickly opened the box revealing another black but velvet box

He opened it and what was inside surprised Ejirou the most

"Oh my god it's a light up plain strawberry ring pop! My favorite! Thank you Kacchan!"

Katsuki grunted and ripped apart the the small box from Izuku

"You're such a fucking nerd" he says looking at the same kind of ring pop except his was Blue Raspberry

"We're both nerds, this is the same flavor of ring pop we proposed each other with, years ago! Hey let's put it on each oth-"

"No"

"No...?" Izuku tilts his head, confused, Katsuki merely smirked at him

"The only ring I'm going to put on you, is an official one with our surnames engraved on it, so piss off with your childish bullshit Deku, be patient and give a few more years" Izuku blinked at him before smiling bashfully, red tainting his cheeks

"Of course! Whatever you say Kacchan!"
